A Film Addict Reviews! Tag
Normally, I am against films about true stories. They just don’t interest me as film addict. I enjoy my action, adventure, comedy and science fiction films, particularly from the 80s. In this case though, I did not realize this film was used on a true story considering how silly of a concept it is. After seeing the trailer, I knew it would be great watching Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, and Jake Johnson in a film together.

The Sun Is Also A Star Movie Review
The tale switches back and forth between its two leads, yet it additionally has sections devoted to background characters, just as parts that offer further investigations of progressively unique subjects addressed in the main individual parts, for example, multiverse theory or the historical backdrop of black hair care. Daniel and Natasha spend a great deal of the book going back and forth between their thoughts of affection and the universe. Natasha is a down to earth researcher, and doesn't have faith in adoration and believes that in the fantastic plan of the universe, people are unimportant. Daniel is an artist and sentimental, who has faith in destiny, fate, and all-consuming, instant adoration.

My Review of "Extra Ordinary"
Extra Ordinary is a movie that kind of came out of nowhere for me. I've been a fan of Shaun of the Dead for a long time and I definitely noticed similar comedy styles in this movie. Well that's to be expected as they're both British comedies and I love British comedies. They have a sense of humor that is innocent and absurd at the same time.

The New vs The Familiar
I sat at the table, eating dinner with my wife and young son while watching the newest release from Disney's live action reboots: Mulan. Upon reaching the final moments of the movie I was left with a strange discomfort towards the film I had just sat through. A familiar yet childlike voice uttered a phrase that is used in all types of settings but typically fronted with a hashtag to increase circulation; this particular one being: #notmyMulan

Review of ‘The Castle School (for Troubled Girls)’
Synopsis When Moira Dreyfuss's parents announce that they're sending her to boarding school, Moira isn't fooled. She knows her parents are punishing her; she's been too much trouble since her best friend Nathan died--and for a while before that. At the Castle School, isolated from the rest of the world, Moira will be expected to pour her heart out to the strange headmaster, Dr. Prince. But she isn't interested in getting over Nathan's death, or befriending her fellow students. On her first night there, Moira hears distant music. On her second, she discovers the lock on her window is broken. On her third, she and her roommate venture outside...and learn that they're not so isolated after all. There's another, very different, Castle School nearby--this one filled with boys whose parents sent them away, too. Moira knows something isn't right about the Castle School--about either of them. But uncovering the truth behind the schools' secrets may force Moira to confront why she was sent away in the first place.

My Review of "Hubie Halloween"
Hubie Halloween is yet another Adam Sandler Netflix exclusive movie. The last Netflix exclusive that he starred in was Murder Mystery. I have to admit that I did enjoy that movie. His movies on Netflix have been kind of hit or miss but recently I think he's kind of been getting his footing back. Or maybe I'm starting to understand his type of humor and just understood what he was getting at with this movie.

"Emily in Paris" and the World We Live In. Top Story - October 2020.
Netflix’s new show “Emily in Paris” about a plucky young American who goes to work for a marketing company in the French capital, not knowing a word of the language but armed with her awesome Instagram skills and “fresh perspective”, has certainly stirred up some controversy. In the wake of cancellations of favourite shows such as “GLOW”, many viewers seem to feel they’ve been robbed of something good and given thrash in return. Critics are not exactly charmed, either, and I don’t even want to imagine what the French think about it. (Actually, according to the internet, they seem to be mostly laughing at it in bemusement which, I suppose, is better than the alternative.)

A Film Addict Reviews! Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
It was towards the end of 2012, a big year for Marvel as they finished up phase one. Avengers was a smashing success in the box office and everyone wanted more. Some of the year passes by and suddenly a trailer for a little movie called Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters comes on. Little me thought, this movie looks cool. I want to see that. Hawkeye was great in the Avengers, least see what he can do without his super pals on the big screen. Man, was I excited to see it back then. I’ve thankfully had the chance to rewatch it recently and oh boy, I remembered it being much different.

My Review of "Imagine That"
Imagine That came out back in 2009. This isn't that long ago yet there is one character in this movie that is quite offensive. They definitely would have had to make many changes to this movie if they wanted to make this movie today. Overall, it is a run of the mill family friendly classic from Eddie Murphy though.

Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston- Review
Have you ever had a book blow away your expectations? It’s the moment when you don’t quite know what to anticipate because it’s not your usual read, the moment when you think the story can’t measure up to all the hype surrounding it. It’s the moment that leaves your mind reeling and your heart pounding.
