Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
The first episode of Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman was a decent setup to the kind of story that they will be telling with this animated series. I have already raved about the visuals. I really love the title sequence. The fact that it just looks like a moving comic book does bring me a deep sense of joy. They have included some subtle calls to the MCU and in the first episode that makes sense, and I sort of hope it stops there. I also hope we never see this multiverse stuff again, it really undercuts the purposes of the show.

Love, Brooklyn - A Sundance Review
We will always figure it out. Love, Brooklyn premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Set in Brooklyn, New York, the film follows a group of adults navigating their lives and relationships. They come to realize the only way to move forward is to embrace new experiences.

My Review of "Stand by Me"
Stand by Me is a movie that came out in 1986. It's a coming of age drama that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. I thought the movie would feel outdated since it takes place in the late 1950s. There aren't big action sequences or wild special effects but yet they were still able to capture my attention pretty well.

Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
The MCU has announced quite a few projects that are to be released in the next couple of years, the first of which being the Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman animated series. I have high hopes for this series as it cast completely new actors, not using Tom Holland allows the world to continue to build and it keeps the audience from getting too attached to the existence of just him as Spiderman. Considering that he is now engaged, we will all have to cope with the very real possibility that he might be done with Spiderman all together. I don’t think this is a project people were particularly excited about, in fact I think most people forgot it was happening. So let’s see if it meets the fact that I have no expectations.

Cordially Invited
We are still keeping our thumb on the pulse of streaming service projects and we are shifting gears to Prime Video. Not sure if we’ve covered this but I will watch anything that Reece Witherspoon is in. And there is a new film on Prime Video called Cordially Invited starring my sweet Elle Woods. It looks like a cute little romantic comedy which is just so perfect for her. And her production company helped produce it so you know it's gonna be good. Oh also Will Ferrel is in it, and that is just delightful.
