I bet you missed me. I was excited about starting the New Year and ready to write every day, yet power outages and getting sick got in the way. Being sick I was just laying in bed watching anime so be prepared for a lot of new anime recommendations. But let's pretend I didn’t miss a few weeks and jump right back into this 30-day anime challenge.
Here is day 16 in case you missed it.
The purpose of these challenges is to post a picture, but I, being the extra person I am, will write a blog about each topic.
This differs from what I am used to blogging, which excites me to test my creativity and go back to find the answers to these writing prompts.
Feel free to join me in the comments below! I’d love to hear your answers too!!

Day 17 Worst Anime Endings
Prepare to hear a rant. Let me first clarify that even though I didn’t like these endings, it doesn’t mean these were bad anime. Some of the ones I am about to list I thought were amazing shows, but the endings didn’t live up to the show's expectations. I’ll explain why I thought these endings were the worst and what I thought of the show overall.
***There will probably be a lot of spoilers. Here is your spoiler warning***
With that let's get into the worst anime endings.

The Promise Neverland
I love The Promise Neverland; This might be one of my favorite stories. When I first watched the anime, I thought season 1 was incredible and season 2 was alright. I didn’t understand why season 2 got so much hate. I was entertaining and completed the story. Years later I was able to buy the manga and read it. Now I understand why people were so disappointed with season 2. To see what we could have had vs what we ended up getting was a huge letdown. If someone never reads the manga, they would still enjoy the anime; however, once you have read the manga, it isn’t even worth it to watch the anime.

Erased
This is another anime that I loved, but this show had me screaming at the end. Do you mean to tell me he spent all this time going back to save this girl, finding her killer, and going into a coma for years, only for her to end up with his friend??? That was so messed up. I know she didn’t know everything he sacrificed for her, but the fact that she just has a baby with his friend, and that's what he sees after years of being in a coma, ruined the ending for me.

CyberPunk Edgerunners
I have never played cyberpunk and just watched the anime because it was suggested on Netflix. I didn’t connect with the anime at all. However, the ending had me shocked. It was sweet that she made it to the moon, but it was so messed up what happened to him. I know people got very emotional at the end of this anime, but I was left with this dissatisfied feeling. Maybe it was because I didn’t connect with this anime overall. Someone who enjoyed this ending can you explain it to me in the comments?

Death Note
Yes, I am putting one of my favorite anime of all time on here. let me start by saying this doesn’t have the worst ending. The ending was great. So why did I put it on this list? Well, the whole show went downhill after L’s death for me. I wish they would have ended it there rather than how they continued the story. I guess L still won in the end through N, but the last episodes were very confusing and the quality overall was declining. I think the last episode ended up saving the story.

100 girlfriends who really, really, really, really, really love you
Here is the anime that I first thought of when making this list. To be fair, this anime just started its second season. However, I will not be watching it after the end of season 1. The only reason to watch this show is if you are horny af and have a multiple-girlfriend fantasy. I almost didn’t even add this to my finished list because I felt ashamed to even have watched it. The only reason I started it was because I saw a TikTok video saying how light-hearted and funny it is. I found out it is the definition of creepy. I can look past some of it, but falling in love with a child who can change into an adult seems like a pedophile, but the ending was worse than that. He fell in love with a girl and then he met her mother he fell in love with her. Wait it gets so much worse. He ended up banging the mom while her daughter was in the other room made me want to wash my eyes out with bleach. He is a minor and the mother is a full grown adult and they are just screwing with her daughter in the other room. Whoever wrote this needs therapy and I need it after watching it.

These were the first anime I thought of when I saw today's prompt. Some of these anime as a whole weren’t bad but the ending was disappointing, and one of them I didn’t understand, and the last one on this list was one of the worst things I had ever seen.
What anime do you think has the worst ending? Do you agree with any of the ones I listed above?
Thanks for reading!!

Anime I wish I could burn from my memory
I have a curse. Whenever I start an anime I have to finish it. I am not sure why I am like that. Maybe I secretly hope it will get better or I’d rather check it off as finished so I don’t feel like it was a complete waste of time. Either way, it is a curse and I have finished some pretty bad anime (In my opinion) Let’s talk about them, shall we?
Bye for now!
