SDCC Schedule
San Diego Comic Con is going to be a very packed weekend, with peak days being on Friday and Saturday. I have desperately tried not to overbook myself but there is just so much that I would like to do. Sunday is the day that things start winding down. All of the major announcements have already been made, the big names are going home and the crowd starts to thin out a little bit. This makes the convention a little bit more networking and comic centric. So there is still plenty that I want to do on Sunday, even with fewer options. SDCC always ends with a sing along of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Once More With Feeling. My dad and I went last year but honestly I am probably going to skip it and just come home to my husband. The sing along is fun but it won’t be as fun without my dad and quite frankly the weekend is going to be really long without my Patrick.

House of the Dragon
Last week's episode of House of the Dragon was the best episode of the series so far. Rook’s Rest was emotional, action packed and entertaining. But there is still a lot of music left to this dance and I am now hopeful that the show will not retreat into unnecessary and unimpactful events. There will obviously be some fallout from what happened in the last episode, let’s see if the writers have finally found their footing.

SDCC Schedule
Saturday is probably going to be the biggest and busiest day of San Diego Comic Con. Most people that bought single day passes bought them for Saturday and it is routinely the first day that sells out. I am personally not setting foot in any of the bigger halls on Saturday so I am hoping that everything that I want to hit will be easier to get into. That said I am also hoping that I left myself enough time to get in line for the things that I think are important. I think I have figured out a strategy for these bigger conventions so let’s get to my Saturday schedule for SDCC.

San Diego Comic Con
The schedules for San Diego Comic Con are now being released and my little nerd heart is very happy. There is going to be a lot going on all weekend but Friday will probably be my busiest day work wise. I already have some interviews lined up. Figuring out the schedule for the weekend is leading to some really tough choices. I am simply too nerdy for my own good and it is taking just so much effort to choose what I want to do. All that said, let’s get into my very tentative and hopeful schedule for Friday at SDCC.

Why Yeatman's G-force was not what we wanted
I don't know if you saw the Disney/Yeatman version of G-Force with the hamsters, but I didn't and I'm still glad that it has a 22% on Rotten Tomatoes. I was so upset when they came out with a movie using the G-Force title and instead of writing a great story for the original vision brought to us in 1978 from David Hanson and Hisayuki Toriumi, they changed the whole thing and made it about hamsters. Ugh. Why God? Why? They had a 150 million dollar budget to work with, and that's what they did? Ugh. Why God? Why?

The One That Started It All
We often think of Disney and Disney World when someone mentions the story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". However, this story was a book before Disney magic brought it to cinema and before it became "the one that started it all". When we look at the movie compared to modern theater these days, it seems so antiquated and outdated. Yet the music and artistry of the original Disney film is beyond classic and beautiful. Many minds were affected by this film and story. More so, the story as it resonates deeply in the subconscious mind.

The Boys
Wow, a lot happened last episode. Butcher realizes that he has been hallucinating Joe, and he finds out that the only way to modify the virus is to make it airborne, therefore killing all the Supes. It seems like the only reason that this makes Butcher hesitate is Ryan. Then we have the fact that now Firecracker has finally gotten in with Homelander and our big, evil, all powerful villain is back to breastfeeding. This does give her some level of power over him now.
