Why Yeatman's G-force was not what we wanted
Hanson's G-force was a totally different style
I don't know if you saw the Disney/Yeatman version of G-Force with the hamsters, but I didn't and I'm still glad that it has a 22% on Rotten Tomatoes. I was so upset when they came out with a movie using the G-Force title and instead of writing a great story for the original vision brought to us in 1978 from David Hanson and Hisayuki Toriumi, they changed the whole thing and made it about hamsters. Ugh. Why God? Why? They had a 150 million dollar budget to work with, and that's what they did? Ugh. Why God? Why?
The original animated series only had one season, but each and every episode brought so much delight and awe to my childhood that I could never forget it. I wish I could forget how Disney took that name and almost ruined it for me. Luckily, there are other anime and fantasy fans who remembered the original show and loved it just as much as me. I thank those amazing fans for loving it loyally like I do.
The original show was a masterpiece way ahead of it's time. While the first Star Wars movie came out and everyone was learning to love Luke, Han, Leah, and Darth Vader forever, directors David Hanson and Hisayuki Toriumi gave us "G-Force, Battle of the Planets" and had us fall in love with the team of characters so memorable that they are in my heart forever.
The Eagle, Mark, leader of the team is drawn so carefully that I actually had a crush on him when I was a little girl. I knew I was Princess, there was no doubt and Mark was my love. Who better than the Eagle to lead the team to victory? The Condor, Jason, second in command. He's so good looking also, I can hardly tell the two apart. The Owl, Tiny, always there for the team and always able to make the kids laugh. The Swallow, Keyop, his fast talking strange language always had me fascinated. And finally, (me!) Princess, the Swan. What would the team be without a beautiful Princess -without the grace and loveliness of the delicate swan?
As they flew fast together as an undivided team they work to save the planet from other intruding planets such as Spectra and also evil villians like Zoltar. The music was brilliant (passionate like the music used for Pokemon) and the animation was flawless. This is what animation and fantasy art is all about. I fell in love with it at the age of 8 and I never forgot them.
So please, to Disney and any other large animation company who tries to please the kids today, don't mess up the old classics. Either come up with a new idea or mess up one of your own ideas, but leave the other golden oldies alone for fans like me to cherish just the way they are. Don't turn Princess and Keyop into hamsters. Please, just stop doing remakes or revisions.
I'm going to write some new stories for Mark and the G-Force team. That's what we should be doing. Not reinventing the wheel. Just putting air back in the tires.

Reading books and watching documentaries is the typical and classical approach to education in regular school houses or institutions; However, some of the Montessori philosophies and principles can be applied to Secondary Education levels without too much disruption to the "normal" sit down and don't cause chaos idea. Regardless if you are in a classroom with children or pre-teens, or if you're trying to see if Geometry can compete with Instagram or some teenager's raging hormones, you should remember this: Students love learning and enjoy learning when it is FUN. Some of the smartest students in the classroom may not participate or engage in lessons because they either already know the information or it simply doesn't challenge them enough to be interesting or worthy of their attention. FUN defies those factors. When a lesson or activity is FUN, the students don't mind if they already know, and they forget they weren't interested because FUN made it interesting. Not all teachers are FUN. As a matter of fact, most of the teachers I had the pleasure of learning from had a serious lack of humor. I think before I graduated, most of the teachers I learned from had to take a class in "How Not to Be Fun" and they all aced it.

This was a show that was anticipated by absolutely no one and it disappeared from the public consciousness as quickly as it was released. There was nothing special about the project that made it a must see, or a must remember. In fact if anything it's a must forget.
