Wild Robot
There is something special about the sentient robot genre, and it's very specific. Those that grew up watching Iron Giant grew up to make Wall-E. The kids that grew up watching Wall-E went on to make Big Hero 6. And the kids that grew up on Big Hero 6 made Wild Robot. We are averaging a heartbreaking robot story about every decade. And Wild Robot fits right into this beautiful and gut wrenching genre.

The film will be directed by William Brent Bell, who also helmed the prequel Orphan: First Kill released in 2022, and written by David Coggeshall, who contributed to the screenplay of that film as well.

Unfrosted
At first glance Unfrosted seems like a cry for help from comedians that are so far past their prime they are just trying to stay relevant. After actually watching the film all the way through I can say with confidence that first impressions are strong and you should go with your gut. I had thought we all decided a while ago to stop putting Amy Schumer in movies, tv shows, on stage or anything else but here we are. Hugh Grant might be the only highlight of the film. I feel like this could have been an entertaining short film but a whole movie was a little overkill.

Harold and the Purple Crayon
Perhaps one of the biggest film flops of the year, Harold and the Purple Crayon takes a beloved children’s story and turns into a desperate attempt at making Zachary Levi likable. Like the film, the attempt failed spectacularly.
