Nickel Boys
Arguably the film that has gotten the most awards attention this season is Nickel Boys. It has been on my to-do list for a while because the incredible Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is in it and I am still incredibly bitter about her getting snubbed for Origin last year. Also with her in it you know that it is going to not only be a good film, but an important one. So with awards season looming it was long past time to watch Nickel Boys.

The world of TV spies and assassins has given us countless masterclasses in cinematic cool. From the suave James Bond to the ruthless Jason Bourne, audiences have grown accustomed to assassins who always stay ten steps ahead, dodging bullets and outsmarting entire governments. Why Do We Find The Convoluted Intricacy So Interesting?
In films and television series, do you ever find yourself supporting the antagonist? You know, the morally ambiguous characters who are neither entirely good nor entirely bad? They are extremely fascinating because they are the ones who fall in the middle. We all have a soft spot for them, let's face it. You're sick of categorizing characters as heroes or villains. That's precisely why grey characters were created, and their popularity has skyrocketed. But have you ever wondered why we find these fictional characters so appealing? We will examine these grey characters' specifics as well as the psychology of why people like them in this article.

Monty’s Death in Landman, That Could Be a Game-Changer for Demi Moore
Monty Miller’s (Jon Hamm) health scare might be exactly what *Landman* needs to finally give Demi Moore’s character, Cami, something to do. At the end of episode 9, Monty was dealing with some major heart issues. His heart rate spiked, he looked seriously uncomfortable, and it seemed like he might have died. While Jon Hamm has been a big draw for the show, losing him could actually open the door for Demi Moore to shine and bring more of her star power to the table.

Best Movies of 2024
We are starting 2025 with talking about the best movies of 2024. We are doing a top 10 list, every single film on this list got either a perfect 10/10 or got really close with a 9.5/10. These are films I felt didn’t have any flaws in their objective elements and then subjectively I enjoyed watching and I feel have real rewatchability factor. These are in no particular order.

Kraven the Hunter
Okay I have put it off long enough, it is time to watch Kraven the Hunter. Now when the first trailer was released for this I knew it was going to be terrible because 1) Aaron Taylor-Johnson was a truly horrendous casting decision and 2) The trailer didn’t even know what the film was about. I knew immediately that we were going to be struggling for a plot of any kind which is about par for the course for Sony superhero films. Also we are doing an awful lot of Spider-man adjacent characters, without Spiderman. I know how all the licencing and shit works but at that point just don't. If you can’t make a good film with the characters you have, then don’t. It's actually really not difficult.

Megalopolis
This is a movie that I have been desperately pushing off this year. I would say that there have been mixed reviews but the reality is that people hated it, and there were a few people singing its praises. As we know I don’t trust the general publics opinions on anything, as I very rarely agree. All that said, even the synopsis for this movie is a hot mess, as is the cast. So let’s go ahead and start in on Megalopolis.
