Death of a Superhero - A Movie Review
Anybody can be anything they want to be. Superheroes make a difference. Flying into theaters, Death of a Superhero is a 2011 film. Donald is a 15-year-old boy with terminal cancer. Spending most of the time in his head drawing comics, he acts up instead of trying to think about the positives. Struggling with mortality his therapist composes a positive influence on him.

If You've Ever Wondered 'Where Did They Come From?'
Let’s wind it back to the late-80’s/early-90s. Trump was just a property tycoon, the name Kardashian was only associated with OJ, and no one had heard of Brexit (all of us Brits long for that to still be the case). A simpler time, some may say. Be that as it may, it was also a time for cult-classic movies that will warm your heart and make you debate asking for a bouffant hair style next time you’re with a stylist.

If you love Dirty Dancing, you will love Cobra Kai
I was nine years old when Dirty Dancing was first released in the theatres. A hot and sweaty Johnny Castle was one of my earliest fantasies. His soft brown hair and dark eyes looking back at me from a giant 1980’s TV screen. Sporting that black tank top with tight black pants that held his perfect ass in place. My first glimpse at a dancing bad boy and the young girl whose ideals changed his ways.

What’s love got to do? Got to do with it?
Dipping one’s toes into the expansive sea of queer films and TV can be a daunting prospect. Whether you fall under the umbrella of the Alphabet mafia (LGBTQIA2S+) or not, this most elusive of genres focuses primarily on love. Love saccharine, rose-tinted and beaming, love growing like a cactus out of a harsh and unforgiving environment, or blooming in a carefully tended garden of luxury and excess. Love turned sour by disappointment or crushed under society’s indiferent boot. The pull of these tales is the uniqueness of the individual flowers, and the many shades, patterns, petal shapes, and stalk lengths that unfurl if given the right care and attention.

Most overrated films
If you can't tell I'm very opinionated. I absolutely love movies and like anybody who loves movies, there's plenty of films I hate. And I don't mean films I love to hate, that's another list for another day. This list just a list of films I hate period that for some reasons many others absolutely love.

If You Liked This 2010's Movie, Watch This Older Movie
As the saying goes...in art, "it's all been done before." When it comes to Hollywood, it's no secret screenwriters love to base their stories off older films. It's exciting when people say, "this film is the next (insert older film here)." For example, when people said Booksmart was the next Superbad, or how Bombshell's editing style felt similar to The Big Short's. When you have a particular movie or genre you love, it's thrilling to know there's another motion picture out there that will satisfy your craving.

Nope, You Have Not Seen These Movies Yet
Yes, that subtitle is meant to read like a 2000s chick flick quote, but never mind that! Why should you ignore that? Because America has done itself justice when it comes to making original films in the romantic comedy AKA chick flick genre, but we’ll be talking about some movies that America did not do justice to, which you may not even know about.
