All Of The Companies That Disney Owns
Why Mickey, you have certainly been a very busy mouse. Please Pass Go!!! Please Do Collect $200!!! You could say that Disney has built quite the monopoly. Hotels included. Several years ago, Marvel wanted and hoped to get back the Fantastic Four. Twentieth Century Fox greenlit a film at the last minute just so they could hold on to the right. We all remember that box office disaster. Well, since Fox wouldn't play fair, what does Disney do? Buys the whole company, of course, for 71.3 Billion dollars. Got to spend money to make money, I guess. But the question is, how many companies does Disney own?

Mama Mia that's a spicy meatball
Alka-seltzer: A memorable commercial A television commercial came to mind today that I thought was promoting Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs. When I looked it up the 1969 ad was actually for Alka-Seltzer. This just shows how the mind can forget some details over a period of 5 decades. The actor in the ad was Jack Somack who was in two Broadway plays, Paris Is Out!, and The Prisoner of Second Avenue.

The Nutcracker Suite: A beloved beloved Christmas tradition The Nutcracker is a beloved holiday ballet that could be seen in numerous venues during the holidays prior to COVID. it is slowly making it's way back but if it is not in your area The Tubi streaming service has several versions currently available to watch and they are all spectacular. I can recall watching this Christmas special as a child on network television and in later years PBS would air a version on Christmas morning for decades. The classic as we know it today has been around for over 300 years in one form or another which is amazing.

Blade Almost Appeared In Person In Eternals Credits Scene
The post-credits scene for Marvel's Eternals nearly featured an in-person appearance from Mahershala Ali's Blade. Though MCU movies are known for their interconnected nature, this fall's Eternals managed to largely stand on its own. The movie, which was directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, introduced the titular cosmic team to the franchise in a millennia-spanning story. The Eternals all possess special abilities that aid them in their mission to fight the Deviants, an evil race of aliens who prey on humans. And yet, though it told a contained story, Eternals still found time to set up future MCU projects.
