Days of Our Lives spoilers: The end is near for a possessed Marlena

There is good news for Days of Our Lives viewers who are ready for some progress in the possession storyline. This comes from Soaps.com who gets their spoilers directly from the NBC studio and they say they are reliable. On Wednesday, December 15 John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be out of the hospital and in hot pursuit of his demonized wife. He will somehow find out where she is located. and track her down. John will show up at the cabin where possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is hiding out with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).

Marlena impersonated John

John will have to do some damage control as a possessed Marlena morphed into his shape and banged on the cabin door in a rage. In the form of her spouse, she was angry and called herself a bitch. Ben believed John was out of control but his wife feels strongly that something is not right with the situation. Ciara has been skeptical all along but going along with her husband's promptings. Her brother Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) was thrown across the table at the Horton house on Thanksgiving by a demonized Marlena and saw her snap off the handcuffs as if they were made of paper.

Days of Our Lives: Shawn Douglas to the rescue

Shawn knows how dangerous his mother-in-law is in her current situation but is not aware that his sibling and unborn child are at risk. He is obviously going to be brought up to speed as spoilers say he is going to assist John so the plot is heating up.

Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry also confirm that there will be a showdown at the cabin in the battle of good and evil. The angel Gabe (Mark Colson) helped John 25 years earlier when Marlena was taken over by the devil the first time. Colson reprised the role by showing up Friday, dressed as a hiker, and kept an eye on the situation in the cabin. He did not reveal who he really is but the devil did not like having him show up.

A Christma miracle may be in store

Gabe might stick around and perhaps offer his old friend John advice this time around as well although he cannot actually interfere in what Satan is planning. John actually mentioned Gabe on Friday so they may encounter one another again. Whatever takes place at the Cabin on December 15 will not be the end of the problem. A winter preview shows Marlena with blazing torches in her hands as a frightened Doug, and Julie, along with Ben, and Ciara look on. Ben summons courage and tells the devil he will fight him but nothing else is known about what will happen.

A Christmas miracle has been promised and fans who are tired of this storyline will be happy when it manifests. The winter preview shows Father Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) returning to town and Marlena seeming troubled. The recent dialogue on the NBC soap among several characters suggests something intriguing. There is a chance that the first exorcism possibly did not take because John was never an ordained priest. His stepson, Marlena's son with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) is a fully ordained priest.

December 15 is one week away from Christmas so there will probably be a lot of action during that week and heading towards the New Year. be sure to stay tuned to Days of Our Lives because things are about to become exciting. The Days holiday film A Very Salem Christmas will be streaming the following day so be sure you don't miss it.
