Thomas Mikal Ford's face graced both television and movie screens during the late 1980s and the 1990s. He was born on September 5, 1964, and passed away on October 12, 2016 at the age of 52. The cause of death was said to be a stomach aneurysm and his many fans were left in shock. Ford was a comedian as well as an actor and he left his audience in stitches. His most famous role was portraying Thomas "Tommy" Strawn on the sitcom MARTIN which aired on FOX from 1992 until 1997. He received an NAACP Image Awards nomination in 1996 for his role as Tommy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Steve Burton tests positive for COVID
Soaps.com recently reported that GENERAL HOSPITAL cast member Steve Burton has tested positive for COVID. The actor who portrays Jason Morgan shared the news via Twitter on Friday the 13th. Burton was supposed to be flying to a fan event with Bradford Anderson who portrays Damian Spinelli and has tested negative for the virus on Wednesday. The fan favorite did not say why but he took another test before boarding the plane on Friday and it came back positive. Perhaps the actor was not feeling well and did not trust the results of the first COVID test.

'Gunsmoke' orphans went on to television and movie fame
In 1971 there was an episode of GUNSMOKE titled "PS Murry Christmas." Jeanette Nolan was Miss Grundy the woman who ran an orphanage but was never able to allow the children to enjoy Christmas. Jack Elam portrayed the man who had volunteered at the facility and loved the children. When he complained about there not being Christmas presents he left with the seven parentless children and headed to Dodge City.

John Mcintyre and Jeanette Nolan married in 1935 and remained together for 56 years until he died in 1991. Both were actors with Nolan appearing in more than 300 television roles. Her character DIRTY SALLY was so beloved on 3 episodes of GUNSMOKE that the actress was given her own series with the same name in 1974. Mcintyre appeared with his wife on the show. When long Hollywood marriages are mentioned people think of Hume Crone and Jessica Tandy, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, or PaulNewman and Joanne Woodward.
