Pataal Lok Season 2 Full Review

On 17 January of this month, it was as if there was a rain of different contents that I did not get the right time to watch Season 2 of Pataal Lok, but now I have watched this web series and what is there in it, let's talk a bit.

This series has several 8 episodes, and every episode is almost 40 to 45 minutes, so if you want to binge-watch it, it will take almost five or six hours

But is this series worth it?

So in my opinion, it depends on your choice of liking. I liked Season 1 very much, and with that impression, I sat to watch Season 2.

Now look, Season 1 of Pataal Lok came in 2020, i.e. in COVID times, and at that time, everyone was craving content because everyone was sitting at home and wanted something to watch.

In such a situation, this series comes and also becomes popular based on its content.

Now look at that time; there were many reasons for Season 1 of Pataal Lok to become famous, such as the raw and rustic language used in it, similar to how you and I speak among our friends or generally in close circles.

Additionally, some of its brutal scenes became quite famous, especially the character of Hathoda Tyagi and the brutal murders committed by him.

And yes, Hathiram Chaudhary, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, has a huge contribution or, say, hand in making this series famous, but will we get to see something similar in Season 2 as well?

Look, Season 1 has not much to do with Season 2; I mean, story-wise, the case of the first season was different, and this season is based on a different case. So, there is no story-wise continuity.

So watching Season 1 is not really important, but you need to know some characters like Hathiram Chaudhary or his family, then Imran Ansari or his relationship with Hathiram Chaudhary; if you know this much, then it is enough.

At the start of the first episode, a recap of about one and a half minutes is shown to you, which will help you connect with the characters.

Now if we talk about the story of Season 2, then instead of comparing it with the story of Season 1, we should judge it as a fresh story.

This time Hathiram Chaudhary and Imran Ansari have a new case in which a very big leader of Nagaland has been murdered in Delhi.

And now Hathiram or Ansari go to Nagaland for investigation, and while investigating, many shocking truths are revealed, which keeps you engaging in every episode.

Everything was going well till the third episode, but in the fourth episode, there is a big twist, and from there, the story takes a drastic change.

Now look, Imran Ansari, who used to be Hathiram Chaudhary's junior, has now become a senior. However, their bond, which was already strong in the first season, has now grown even deeper. Watching this will definitely bring you some comfort because Hathiram’s professional and personal life is always in chaos.

But the way Ansari stays with Hathiram at every turn, Hathiram Chaudhary gets some relief in between.

And I have to give a thumbs up to Jaideep Ahlawat. He has played his character of Hathiram Chaudhary so well that he will probably be recognized for this role in future.

Conclusion

So overall, considering everyone's performance, storyline and presentation, I give the series 3.5 out of 5 stars.

This time there are no vulgar scenes in the series. There is abuse and that too is moderate.

There is a little bit of brutality. In the first episode itself, the head is cut off from the body, but after that, I really did not see any brutal scenes.

The use of drugs has been shown in it, so children should stay away from this series.

Now tell me what is your opinion about this series.
