Master Ji had told Tyagi that the one who loves dogs and when a dog loves a human then that person is a good person, so when Tyagi went to kill Sanjeev Mehra, Sanjeev Mehra and his wife were petting a dog and this thing forced Tyagi to think that Sanjeev Mehra is a good person and he cannot kill him.

Due to this, Tyagi tried to talk to MasterJi to clarify, and only after this did Tyagi, along with his three companions, get arrested.
