My Review of "Agatha All Along"
A very entertaining show that will get people on board with Marvel TV shows again.

Agatha All Along has finished up and I have to say it was quite a ride. I was a fan of the WandaVision. I was hoping that the same clever fun would be had in this season of Agatha All Along. Thankfully it did. If you're a fan of WandaVision you'll feel right at home with this season. It carries over a lot of that same feeling from WandaVision into this show. This makes sense because the two shows are related.
The season starts off with Agatha not knowing who she is anymore. She's playing a detective trying to solve a crime. It feels just like WandaVision because she seems to be in a police drama TV show. Yes a TV show within a TV show. It's all kind of a ruse because she bumps into a mysterious teenager.
His name is not revealed until much later in the season but that's for good reason. There's some sort of spell that has been put on him. She's curious who he could be but he seems to know her. He releases her from her TV show spell and she finally understands who she is again.
All this is then interrupted by what seems like another rival witch. Agatha no longer has her powers but she wants them back. In order to get her powers back she kind of has to go through a series of trials known as the witch's road. It's a treacherous journey that she has to go through with a coven of other witches.
Of course none of the other witches want to be part of her coven because Agatha has built up a pretty bad reputation for herself. Eventually she finally gets a ragtag gang together and journey's towards the witch's road.
It's a really fun time getting to learn who the members of the ragtag gang. Each of them has a pretty interesting story to them. I thought that Lilia had the most interesting and fascinating story of all of them. They fragmented her story to match her behavior. It all makes sense in the end and I thought it was done so well.
I really wished that Mrs. Hart could have had a bigger role in the show. She was a comedy character that could have been expanded a little more throughout the show. She's not a witch, she's just someone that wants to make friends. Unfortunately for her she was targeted by Agatha and is pulled into the chaos.
The twist later on in the show is pretty fun. I think some people could sense it coming but I kind of didn't really expect it. They pulled a good one with that twist and I think a lot of people will appreciate it as well. It also helps them continue a story after this season is over.
Some things that you might not expect is the amount of singing involved in this show. For some, it's not so surprising because it is Disney and witches after all. It's kind of expected that Disney and witches always means that there is some sort of musical element to it.
They did have a lot of cliche things about witches in this show. I'm not sure if they were meant to be cliche or that they did it because people expected it out of the show. The show is kind of self aware and they call themselves out on some of these things but then again there are a few that they don't that feel obviously cliche.
Overall, I really liked this season. It made me want to watch more and one of the rare Marvel TV shows that I might go back to because it was so entertaining. I have to give this show an 8 out of 10. It was top notch writing and a heck of a good time.
