Why Casablanca is a Film Noir
“Film noir” is a hard term to find a definition for. Some film historians argue that the term film noir is a genre while others argue that it is the mood or tone of the movie. Regardless on how you see the definition of a film noir, I believe that Casablanca is a film noir.

Anime That Should Get Live-Action Movies
Anime, at it's most simple, is a form of hand-drawn or computer animation. And, outside of Japan, anime is used to refer specifically to animation from Japan, or Japanese-disseminated animation style often characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters, and fantastical themes. This leaves a pretty rich area for storytelling, so it's no wonder that many anime series have been adapted to live-action movies.

Cutest Anime Couples
I am not going to talk about any of the couples in the picture above, because I know none of them, but it was a cool collage of anime couples. But here are some of the best anime couples that we both love and hate, because we all wish we were them.

The Room
I remember being in college, where I took a film class as part of my required communication elective. As much as I loved this class, I had an overwhelming amount of movies to watch that my professor thought were masterpieces. It was for the most part a great learning experience, but I need an ounce of stupid in my life. Around this time, I was into Troll 2, a movie that I will definitely talk about another time, but after my film class I needed something new. I read online about this movie called The Room, which came out in 2003. I never hear of this movie before, but it was being called "The Citizen Kane of Bad Movies" (funny, that's one of the movies I had to watch in my film class). I found a copy of this, and what I saw changed me.

Victim Blaming in Pretty Little Liars (SPOILERS)
I've been re-watching the show, and something has been bugging me non-stop regarding the relationships between the girls and their parents. In the second episode, we see Melissa's 23-year-old fiance flirt with and ultimately kiss the 16-year-old Spencer. When Melissa sees this and dumps him, Spencer is treated horribly by her family. Despite her protests that it wasn't consensual, her parents take Melissa's side. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth of any viewer who notices this trend. A similar thing happens when it is revealed that Ian, 22, carried on a relationship with Spencer when she was 15. She hides this fact, but the police find out and question her. Her own parents blame her too. I'm personally bothered by the fact that the police didn't question Ian, nor did they arrest him. He may have said that it wasn't sexual, but they would have had no reason to believe him.

You're lying if you're saying you don't like Disney movies — everyone loves Disney films. They're truly the most creative and unique films ever created, with brilliant storylines and unforgettable characters. The stories are so heartwarming and educational, Disney films are impossible to dislike. Every film starts off as a comedy, before reaching an upsetting moment, and then the ending is something we can all take for our personal lives — that's what makes Disney movies the best.

Why 'The Flash' Season 3 Wasn't as Bad as Everybody Makes It Out To Be
Let me get this started with saying, The Flash season 3 definitely wasn't my favorite season of The Flash. Yet, I'm also not part of the majority of The Flash fans that absolutely hate it. I think some of fans' biggest grievances are completely justified, and I think some of their grievances can be easily defended against. Those grievances are what I'm here to talk about.

Review: 'The Lost City of DeMille' . Top Story - October 2017.
The Lost City of DeMille is a pure delight for cinema historians. This tiny, low budget documentary was thirty plus years in the making and yet captures more than 90 years of film history in its remarkably fun 87 minutes. The history captured in The Lost City of DeMille is that of the director who defined the early days of film and was both progenitor and savior of the art form in its infancy and pubescence. For that alone, The Lost City of DeMille deserves our praise.

Top Picks from Pokévault
Pokévault is one of the biggest stores for second-hand merchandise from Japan. It's got one of the best reputations and all products sold can be guaranteed to have 100% top quality. With over hundreds of items in their catalogue, and a catalogue that is always changing, I thought I could compile a list of some of the best products on Pokévault at the moment as well with the most desirable and things that we want to have. I've not heard one bad thing about this store.
