And they won't bore you to death. 'Breathless' This book is by Lurlene McDaniels. It is about a boy, his girlfriend, best friend, and sister and the ethical dilemma they go through. Travis, the boy, is a champion diver in his high school division, has a beautiful girlfriend, and a supportive best friend and sister. One day they go out to their favorite diving spot, some cliffs on the lake. Travis does an amazing dive off the cliff, but when he hits the water he screams out in terror; he has just broken his leg somehow. He gets diagnosed with a terminal disease. He now has no reason for living and wants to end his life, but he wants one of his three trusted companions to do it. They go through this ethical dilemma of who will kill their dear friend. It's very short and a fast read, you will probably end up reading it in two hours or so.

Transformers Movie Review
Transformers Movie Review It’s time to review where it started, Transformers numero uno. In fact some say this is the best of the movie saga. The movie has great pacing and great story. However there isn’t a lot of action (for a Transformers film) and that’s to be expected.

Silent Cinema: A Night of Laurel & Hardy
Growing up Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were always staples in our home. When my mother was little she had spent hour after hour at her Aunty Jessie's watching old Laurel and Hardy films and developed a love for them, so naturally they were a huge part of me and my brother's life. There has always been something I have found oddly comforting about the two men on screen; whether it is Ollie's black bowler hat or the goofy look on Stan's face as he begins to sob, whenever I sit back and watch them the world instantly seems like a better place. Sadly their's is a kind of humour that you just don't see anymore so when I heard that The Festival Theatre was screening "A Night of Laurel & Hardy" with a live pianist accompaniment I jumped at the chance to buy tickets and organised a mother-daughter date.

Netflix's 'Big Mouth' Will Make You Uncomfortable, but It's Necessary
To say that Netflix’s new animated comedy series Big Mouth is not for everyone would be the understatement of the year. The ten-epsiode show, created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, and Jennifer Flackett, follows a group of 13-year-old suburban friends, Nick (Nick Kroll), Andrew (John Mulaney), Jessi (Jessi Klein), Jay (Jason Mantzoukas), and Missy (Jenny Slate), as they navigate the physical and social changes of puberty. The storylines place one foot in reality and the other in the young characters’ imaginations. Characters in this universe are “guided” through puberty by their own Hormone Monster (Nick Kroll) or Hormone Monstress (Maya Rudolph).

Reed Alexander's Review of 'Crimson Peak (2015)'
It's a rare moment when I feel compelled to pay 10 bones for an actual movie ticket when I know I can just wait for it to come out on Netflix and watch it for the subscription fee along with dozens of other movies. Then there's Guillermo del Toro. I'ma do my best not to suck his dick fan boy style and give this movie an honest review. But If I'm going to pretend to be honest, I squeed like a little school girl when I saw the previews and pretty much screamed "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" at the automated ticket machine... because I hate humans... and no I don't want a fucking regal card.

The documentary Risk from director Laura Poitras is an engrossing and fascinating portrait of a man that history has yet failed to fully grasp. Julian Assange would like to be thought of as the Robin Hood of the information era, robbing the rich of their secrets and sharing them with the world. But Assange’s choice to make himself the public face of his Wikileaks organization has unquestionably gone to his head and rendered him a paranoid and strange figure who believes conspiracies against him are hiding behind every corner.

I, Tonya
October 9 saw the US premiere of Craig Gillepsie's latest film I, Tonya at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Starring Margot Robbie as the titular role and Sebastian Stan as her manipulative husband Jeff Gillooly, the film is a dramatized documentary about the figure skater Tonya Harding. As she rises among figure skaters in the US Championships leading to the Olympics, her husband intervenes in an unorthodox way. I, Tonya focuses on the Nancy Kerrigan (portrayed by Caitlin Carver) incident where she was struck in the knee by two men hired by Harding's husband and her ex-body guard.

Marvel Superheroes That Could Theoretically Exist
Superheroes are fictional characters... There, I said it. Sorry to rain on your parade, but superheroes who possess certain abilities and powers can't actually be real. If you think so otherwise, then let me know how a human can obtain the same powers as the Hulk or Thor. I didn't think so either.
