General Hospital: The fallout from Cassadine Island

General Hospital has been all over the place recently regarding Liesl Obrecht's (Kathlene Gati) captivity on Cassadine Island. Thanks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Drew Cane (Cameron Matthison), and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) Obrecht, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will soon return to Port Charles. There will still need to be closure regarding the situation between Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Chaunessey).

Scott got Victor out of jail but did not obtain the information he was promised regarding finding Liesl. There has been so much going on that it is not even clear if Scott was made aware of what just took place on Cassadine Island. Sciesl fans are eagerly awaiting a grand reunion between their favorite couple but spoilers through December 10 from Soaps.com do not even mention the duo. Just because Scott and his "Schnitzel" are not mentioned does not indicate that they will not be on screen.

General Hospital projection: Victor's plans are unknown

Focus right now in Port Charles is related to the fate of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and the fallout from his being presumed dead. General Hospital viewers know that this will not be the entirety of the episodes and that at some point Liesl will be reunited with her "Liepchen." Support for Sciesl is growing and fans want to see more of the duo on screen. It was even believed at one point that Scott would make his way to Cassadine Island and be the one to save the woman he loves but this did not happen.

When Victor Cassadine walked out of his prison cell he ignored Scott's pleas to tell him how to find Obrecht and Victor has not been shown since. Soap Dirt is suggesting that Scott and Liesl will plan a Christmas wedding but this is speculation. The spoiler also teases that Victor will not leave the couple alone and will continue trying to break them up. GH viewers still do not know what Victor is really up to or how long he will remain in Port Charles.

When Scott finds out the truth of what this man has put Obrecht through he will be sorry he helped him get out of jail and be seeking revenge. Liesl may be so grateful to be alive that she may not desire to give that "Schwine" another thought and want to focus only on her relationship with Scotty. One thing that is certain is that Victor Cassadine has an ulterior motive that has not been revealed. He is feeling pretty cocky right now because Scott got him out of jail and he did not reveal Liesl's location.

General Hospital: Will there be a wedding?

There is sure to be more drama between these three as things begin to settle down in Port Charles. Victor may find himself reaching out to his son Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who recently found out that Bailey Quartermaine (Odell Diaz twins) is not his daughter. It's possible the men could bond but more than likely Victor does not have a kind bone in his body. There is no telling what he will gt into with everyone so focused on the missing and presumed dead Jason.

If Soap Dirt's speculation turns into a reality and Scott and Liesl do plan a holiday wedding Victor will probably do something to derail their plans. There is no way that a wedding between these two will happen without some bumps in the road. Liesl will also have to be there for a heartbroken Britta who will blame herself for Jason's demise. Dr. Westbourne will not get over this any time soon but perhaps seeing her mom happy with Scott will ease a bit of her pain. General Hospital fans can expect lots of laughs along with the drama when Scott and Liesl return to the screen so stay tuned.
