The Best Sci-Fi Shows on Netflix
Umbrella Academy For those fatigued by the current glut of superhero TV shows and/or movies, The Umbrella Academy is the tonic you need. Steve Blackman and Jeremy Slater’s Netflix series, based on the Dark Horse comics by Gerard Way, immediately immerses you in this strange world and establishes that it is playing by its own rules. It’s not always clear what those rules are, but it doesn’t matter because the journey is so much fun.

My first thoughts on Ju On Origins Netflix show
Ju On Origins is a new show on Netflix. It’s of course based on the The Grudge movies. But you it’s not what I expected. The Grudge has a lot of jump scares right away. This show Ju On Origins gets under your skin in your head. And I will explain to you why later. But for now I want to point that the story of Ju On Origins is actually based on a true story. Which just made that house in The Grudge a million times scarier. I thought this was all fiction when I saw it years ago.

Netflix Potential: Purgatori
Back in February I did a speculative article on a possible Netflix series based on the CHAOS! Comics character of Lady Death. I had so much fun with that one that I wanted to do another entry and make Netflix Potential another big project. The only problem was that I couldn't decide where to start; until I realized that I already had the next entry selected.

Little Women (2019) Film Review
Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women is nothing short of excellent. Known for the success of her original film Lady Bird (2017), Gerwig wrote and directed the adaptation of the childhood classic with a star-studded cast including Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Emma Watson and Meryl Streep (absolute queen). With such an incredible cast and talented writer/director, I shouldn’t have been surprised at the brilliance of Little Women, and yet it still blew me away.

I Try To Watch Every Single Netflix Original 2: The Sequel
Note: I write all of my notes while I am watching the show/movie itself or right afterwards so my notes range from being super short to super long depending on if there were points that I thought were worthy to write about. Here are all of my honest and smart ass opinions on what I’ve seen so far. Some might contain spoilers, I ramble a lot, and I am in no way a writer. Idk man, enjoy!

Stranger Things Season 3 - A Netflix Series Review
I have an idea. We should go to the mall! Just as long as no monsters cause a ruckus. Season 3 of Stranger Things picks up in the summer of 1985. In the midst of grappling with friendships and relationships, the gang finds themselves in a new precarious situation. The Russians attempt to open the upside-down world releasing all the evils. It’s up to Mike and his friends to save Hawkins from danger.
