Everything Burns

Everything Burns

Watching the place where he had grown up and learned virtually everything he knew, The Foundation, made him more than a little sad when he watched it being devoured in an inferno.

The attack had been expected, but he and his friends risked their lives to smuggle out the secret and sacred texts, which were the foundation of the knowledge of the Witches and Wizards. The attack of the Necromancers was to destroy every last trace of the Foundation.

They had no reason, to attack, but they did because they could, and the authorities allowed it based on the "Freedom of Expression"

They had taken risks to gather all they could, knowing that they would rebuild in another place.

They knew the Necromancers would come again, but they had taken what they needed and they had survived even though the Necromancers incendiaries were hitting the buildings as they made their final way out.

They had previously gone on the offensive against the necromancers but their supernatural powers and hate were too great to counter.

Hermione said "That scared me, but we had to do it"

Harry replied, "The risk was worth it, and we all are still here".

They walked away as the Necromancers still attacked the crumbling buildings with their firebombs and flamethrowers. There would be nothing left of the place.

Looking at the flames devouring what had been his and many others home Harry said "Everything Burns, Nothing Lasts, but we will rebuild"
