Keepers Of The Sacred Fire

The world was always at war. The few pursued power at any cost, and that power pursuit resulted in casualties, death, children orphaned, famine and poverty and the ones that caused were only concerned with swelling their coffers.

It was like love had left the world.

But it hadn't.

Around the world, the Witches tended to those in need each day and spoke with each other and held congress with Gaia and the spirits who knew the ill that was in the world.

The spirits told them that on each natural day, the Vernal and Autumnal Equinoxes, Samhain, and the Summer and Winter Solstices they must gather at their sacred circle and call up the healing fire from the Earth to send out love and healing to the world.

Many shunned the Witches because they did not understand and were swayed by the edicts of evil governments, but the Witches knew the healing fire would clear the minds of the people and make them care more about their fellow humans, nature and the Earth

The governments did not see the Witches as a problem because they knew they had power in their broadcasts to sway public opinion.

When the Witches called up their fire the people heard the words of the government less and suddenly has miles on their faces and felt the Love called up by the Wutches' Fires flow through their minds and bodies.

People who had been sick were able to leave their beds and knew the reason was that the Witches had called up the Sacred Fires

Over time the world grew crueller and darker, but the Witches Fire always returned and the world was once more filled with hope and love.

So if you find that times seem dark, wait for the Witches to raise the Sacred Fire and then you will feel their love flow through you and Hope will fill your heart.

The Witches' Sacred Fire will always be close to dispel the darknes in the world.
