The Best Chocolate Mousse You’ve Ever Had
“Julia Child wasn’t always Julia Child.” I was revisiting the movie Julie and Julia as I was writing this piece for inspiration and one of the characters spoke these words. Julia Child changed everything for us, especially women.

Green Stuff. Runner-Up in A Taste of Home Challenge.
The memory gets hazier every year, but I'll never quite forget the first time I tasted it. Thanksgiving Day was the occasion; we were all gathered together at my paternal grandparents' house, just like every year before or since. I remember it was cold, and that I was pretty young. How young, I can't say for sure. Old enough to feed myself, but not old enough yet to fix my own plate. My Dad walked alongside me down the buffet my Maw-Maw, great-grandmas, aunts, and mother set up in the kitchen. Daddy held the plate for me, loading up that Styrofoam trough with everything I pointed to.

I was born and raised in Utah and the only food more debatably Utahan than Funeral Potatoes is gelatin. (Fun facts: in 2001 Utah name the official state snack: Jell-o. Utahans eat more Jell-o per capita than any other state and are well known for their Green Jell-o salad featuring crushed pineapple.)

The Worst Valentine's Gifts Ever: A Comedy Special (According to Women). AI-Generated.
#1: Bath Bombs Oh, bath bombs. The glittery, fizzy promise of relaxation. But let me tell you something: if I wanted to sit in a tub full of chemicals that turn my skin neon blue or green, I’d go swimming in a glow-in-the-dark pool. Sure, they smell nice, but honestly? They’re like adult versions of Play-Doh. And let’s not forget the inevitable mess: glitter everywhere, clogged drains, and a bathroom that looks like a science experiment gone wrong.
