Finding Hope
Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well. This is my first story on here. Finding Hope It was just another cool summer day when the heat of what I had done came back to burn me. She said she needed to take time away to figure out what her plan was and that she would come back after three weeks. It has been about two months now since she left and the house we lived in has never been the same. The sound of silence plagues me like cancer that has ravaged the entire body.

Hazy Dreams
Hazy Dreams He is beating me with his little fists, and he is screaming, and his neck is drawing back, with his mouth wide open, and the yelling is so loud, it’s hurting my ears. My hands are up, as I sit on the couch, and I catch his little body each time he crashes into me. His eyes are light, and dark, and his blonde hair is sticking up, and also, curled in, and also, sticking straight out. His hands are clean, but the toy hes had in his mouth is not, and it get slobber on me, I try to redirect him, but right now, I am an easy target. He gets up on the couch, stands at his full height, and prepares to body slam me, wrestler style. I catch him, and in a low voice begin to sing. “Amazing grace how sweet the sound,”

Different
The photo included is of my oldest daughter and my great grandmother. This women adopted me when I was about 2 weeks of age. Legally about 6. I’ve decided to include this woman because it was not until after she passed away that all of questions and vulnerabilities came to the surface. Prior to her passing I have experienced some traumatic experiences that I will write about later on in a separate story.

Mirrors of Memory
This is a story. This story is of the author of this paper. The contradiction is that this is a story that seeks to find the start and the end. A never-ending story, in an ongoing process, with various points inside that have a beginning and an end. The end of each of those ruptures in the story has a material manifestation of a variety of forms and shapes. I can only process my story through the processing of remembering and forgetting.
