A Wrinkle in Time
Meg and Charles Murry’s father goes missing and they bring their friend Calvin O’Keefe to another world to fight a monster called the thing. It was nominated and won several well deserved awards. It is a great book, well written and I recommend that you read it. A great work!

Shogun
The book "Shogun" by James Clavell is based on a genuine story that is so ridiculous that it should be classified as fantasy. Every word, every syllable transports the reader into the enchanting world of Japanese culture and the cruel regulations of the samurai. You feel it with every heartbeat.

Harry Potter - Critique

Primer (2004)
If you want a hard-science, very grounded and jargon-heavy take on time travel, watch Primer. It avoids many of the fantastical tropes associated with the genre, instead focusing on the moral questions and implications time travel raises and creates. Definitely a film that requires a number of rewatches to understand.

Aliens: A Critique
Ripley’s second round with the xenomorph has it all! ACTION PACKED! Badass colonial marines, cute kid, weird robot guy. And of course monsters, more monsters. Bigger and badder. Ripley in Caterpillar Power Loader exoskeleton machine fights massive alien queen. Best sequel ever made. Dare I say, better than the original?

Why Halloween is better than Christmas 🎃
1. There is more choice to spend it exactly how you want to: During Christmas time it is expected that you eat a meal with the family and get everyone a gift that they open. With Halloween, you can either throw a party, watch a horror movie, dress up, or give someone a gift if you want to or not.
