If you want a hard-science, very grounded and jargon-heavy take on time travel, watch Primer. It avoids many of the fantastical tropes associated with the genre, instead focusing on the moral questions and implications time travel raises and creates. Definitely a film that requires a number of rewatches to understand.

This is right up my alley. I must thank you in advance for reviewing it and bringing it to my attention. I have sat and talked for hours with people about time travel movies, so I'm excited to see this one. Great review! You manage to encapsulate it by comparing it to other well known time travel films, and then completely make it shine, and get people's attention. So good!
Now I want to watch this movie! Great critique!
Ugh, moral questions. To hell with those. Let's do something that takes out humanity! We're overpopulated 🤣🤣🤣
I can seriously watch this film a dozen times with the guide of the intersecting timelines, and I'd still struggle to keep pace. But man I love this film so much
Good to know. Thanks, Paul.
Another I know of, but have yet to see! “Back to the Future this ain’t!” 😆👏
I’d forgotten about Primer! Such a good movie.
Hmm. Sounds interesting.
