JonBenet Ramsey
A beauty pageant princess the age of six was gruesomely murdered in her own house on Christmas morning at 5:58 AM. A ransom note found by the mother on the steps of their own staircase demanded $118,000 or their daughter would not be returned alive. The note lead to Patsy Ramsey, JonBenet Ramsey’s mother, to call the police to report her daughter missing at 5:52 AM. Nothing in the note gave a hint that the six-year-old star would be found in the basement of the house. The note stated one thing that could be crucial to cops. In the note the possible killers state, “Mr. Ramsey, Listen carefully! We are a group of individuals that represent a small foreign faction. We respect your business, but not the country it serves.” This could mean that this murder was done by multiple people. Being that the note has an even amount of money that they want so that they can share it evenly, they also state that they are a “group of individuals”. This note states this, “The two gentlemen that are watching over your daughter do not particularly like you, so I advise you not to provoke them. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as the police or FBI, will result in your daughter being beheaded.” This would prove once more that this could be a multiple killer situation. The note has a detail that could be pointing in the direction of law enforcement itself as well. The note adds, “You can try to deceive us, but be warned that we are familiar with law enforcement countermeasures and tactics. You stand a 99% chance of killing your daughter if you try to outsmart us. Follow our instructions and you stand a 100% chance of getting her back.” Maybe the group of individuals would know when to commit the crime when they got the call. This could also explain why it remains a cold case, murders working on the inside of the case. Initials were signed on the bottom of the ransom note “S.B.T.C” these initials still are unidentified. What was suspicious about the ransoms money amount was how close it was to John Ramsey’s amount he got as a bonus from his job as CEO of an access graphics company. What was extremely chilling about the note that the pen and paper were used from inside the home. This then lead to the possibility of an intruder or her own family, yet little evidence was found to support the thought of an intruder such as no forced entry and no footsteps in the snow, with all the signs then pointing to one of the three family members, John Ramsey, Patsy Ramsey, and Burke Ramsey. Today the murder is still unconvinced or isn’t even know, but using the evidence from the case and personal encounters with the Ramsey family, a decade long case might be solved.

The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial America Anxiously Awaits An Outcome
After watching the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial, or at least the excerpts and what I could yesterday, it’s clear that this isn’t going well for the prosecution. There are a few things about this trial that are different than previous ones. While Rittenhouse obviously shouldn't have been there, prosecutors have tried to exclude any culpability of others. He was, after all, a seventeen-year-old. Arguing his silence after the incidents was wrong, directly attacked his use of his fifth amendment rights. Attacking a defendant's use of their constitutional rights in any criminal case is not a good approach for a prosecutor.

Requiem for a Criminal Investigator
Requiem for a Criminal Investigator By: Sean Walton As the second bullet sped by his head, Duke tried hard to push himself further into the adjacent doorway of the darkened hallway. The apartment first floor stank of urine and burned his nostrils as he reflected on his recent selection as a member of the elite Warrant Squad. His job was to track down prison escapees, parole violators and halfway house failure-to-returnees and place them back into the detention center to await disposition by the courts and parole boards. Piece of cake for a guy like him; a former military police officer, former town police officer, and former county police officer.
