The Dying Light
I was walking home that night. Cold, wasn’t it? The kind of cold that bites through your skin, down to the bone. Yes, yes, I remember the chill distinctly. It had rained earlier, leaving the pavement slick and the air damp. That’s when I saw him. Old Mr. Lewis, hunched over like he always was, with his frayed coat flapping against his legs. He’d been my neighbour for... years? Decades, perhaps. Not that we ever spoke much. He wasn’t the type to strike up a conversation. Grumpy old sod, if you ask me. But something was off that night. Something different about the way he moved.

Echoes of innocence:A Heart’s Regret
This was a quiet night, the kind that makes you feel the world is holding its breath, frozen in silent darkness. Dancing shadows of a flickering flame danced upon my walls, an atmosphere peaceful and serene. In this moment, though, a small mouse scurried into my room. Its small, delicate body barely even stirred the air. True, one of Nature's most unassuming creatures yet it stirred something deep within me. Loving Krishna fed my heart and moved me to respond with sympathy, a flicker of pity smoldering in my chest.

Unfurling Leaves, Unfolding Truths
We were sitting for tea, on the old green velvet chairs, a bit eaten by moths on the edges, in the tiny hall with grandma Lalli. The aroma of the freshly brewed mint was strong. Herbal tea always invited me to confess my thoughts and also eager for stories. We had picked the mint that very afternoon, and I got bitten by a mosquito in the process. Grandma always had a hand made potion for bites, so I was not too worried.

A Dear Me Letter
Dear Me, You couldn't ask people to write you letters without writing one yourself. That would just be plain rude. The frustrating about writing to myself is that I have nothing good to say about you. You still get sick to your stomach when you see yourself in the mirror. You still only eat once a day most days and that's only because your family watches you like a hawk and you have to (not to mention the low blood sugar issue, that sucks too). You go about everything you do with half-baked enthusiasm because you know you'll fail anyway. Just like your business. Just like your book.

Closeted. Content Warning.
I saw he had friends on his profile who were crossdressers and crossgenders. I hesitated to reply at first because of this. But I went forward anyway. I asked what it was about. He said it was because they didn't "catch feelings" and couldn't get pregnant. I thought that was reasonable. I asked if he'd ever been with one. He said he had, but only once. We began chatting. We realized we had things in common, despite our 23 year age difference. He offered for us to meet. I accepted.

How to improve communication skills.
A decade-and-a-half later, with the rise of social media networking and texting, communication is becoming more casual, even in situations where more formal ways of communicating are required. Hello Pervert
Lisa sat down at her desk and opened her laptop. She’d been awaiting word on the job she’d applied for and didn’t want to hassle the contact officer anymore. Her enjoyment of her current role had vanished a while ago. She found it easier to count the moments she didn’t feel like crying at work instead of the times that she did.

Finding The Genie
Introduction We all love the story of Aladdin and how he got the wishes from the Genie when he rubbed the lamp, and we would all like to be given a wish or two that would come true, but often even the simplest wishes may have unforeseen repercussions. We could wish for world peace, but that could be an Armageddon that destroys all life and therefore leaves the world at peace. I don't think that anyone who wishes for world peace would want that outcome.
