The Ballad of Shadows
Title: The Ballad of Shadows Raheel was an aspiring musician, possessing a guitar and a voice capable of warming the coldest of hearts. Residing in the impoverished neighborhoods of Dhaka, he entertained patrons at modest roadside cafes and lively street corners, where the aroma of fried delicacies mingled with the vibrant sounds of the crowd, creating a disordered yet harmonious atmosphere. Despite his financial struggles, his fervor for music sustained him, with his melodies reflecting the burdens of his life and the aspiration for a brighter future.

Sipping Wisdom: A Personal Journey of Meeting My Younger Self Over Coffee
The air permeated a sense of calmness and stillness as I entered the coffee shop ten minutes late, I saw my younger self sitting there reading a book as she was sipping on her favourite caramel ice cream latte. Engrossed in her tale, she scrunched her nose as she did not like a particular stance of the story, I smiled with a serenity-filled eye as I saw the beauty of innocence brimming in her eyes. Hurrying across the table I told her sorry I was late and she said it was no problem. She asked me what I would like to have and I ordered an iced mocha frappuccino as she made room for me to sit alongside her on the table.

"Love Beyond Time"
It was a sunny summer evening, and I was busy fumbling with my old stuff. As I rummaged through our old trunk, a beautiful and huge flower printed photo album caught my eye. Its was a new album i bought last year for my family pictures which seemed to whisper stories of some kind of maharaja era. As I delicately opened the album i felt like i'm in 90's , there were tones of pictures of my father looking like a damnn hero of his outfits(i always though he could have worked for indian cinema),i too saw some pictures of my mother (always looking submissive),and then my grandparents ...they definitely looked like maharaja and maharani of that time, my grandfather with a big rifle in his hand(he was an army man) and my grandmother with tones and tones of gold jewellery ( rajput family dowry obsession perks),and then my eyes fell on a beautiful picture....a wave of nostalgia washed over me. Childhood memories came flooding back, and my eyes landed on a familiar face - my grandmother's...and she was holding me!!( the tiny me hehe).

The Fog
My third treatment is around the corner and my mind is literally deteriorating. Chemo brain or Chemo fog is very much like pregnancy brain, but I feel like its a lot worse. However, I wouldn’t know because I’ve never had a pregnancy to last to the point of getting pregnancy brain. You get sensitive to smells, get dizzy easy, black out, however I feel like the worst thing is I’m struggling with communication it seems.

Confessions of a Liar
So, it's confession time. While I am sure that most people that follow my scribblings, poetic etchings and stories will not be so fickle to stop subscribing and reading because of this, there is the potential that you might. I have made peace with that.

Living in my parents basement
Never have I thought that I would be living in my parents basement at 27 years old. To me it's a bit embarrassing, if I'm admitting honestly. I went from living in a 2 bedroom apartment with my partner to moving to my parents basement.
