Okay, Ralf writing can’t be that simple! The word of the day was Egalitarian. Now Write.
A couple of years back as a writing challenge and in order to show that anything can become writing. I took the word of the day from dictionary.com and wrote something with it. 7 Words for 7 days all bits of stories that I worked on based on what the word was. This was the story that came from Egalitarian. Happy Independence Day I hope you like this reworked version.

Ah but you do, because you know a lot of characters. We see them everyday, we interact with them and we know them very well. For you see the inspiration is all around you in the people that you know and even in yourself.

The Heroes/villains Journey. Top Story - May 2025.
The Hero’s Journey is a precocious one. For if one is not careful one will end the journey as the villain. Most villains see themselves the hero. They start with good intentions and build their road towards a noble goal. Yet somewhere down the path obsession, greed, love of power, or righteousness sets in.

It always amazes me when someone tells me, “but Ralf I don’t have anything to write about.” There is always something to write about. I can understand that someone might be thinking but my life is boring. But I found that this is rarely the case if ever.

Four Little Paws
Once there were four little paws running to and fro, exploring each corner of this house we call home. Small padded feet softly thumping up and down stairs, sometimes wildly running. Sunning in windows as they watched the world flow. They would run and play and purrr, giving smiles and comfort to all who saw.

Therapist
Tick tick tick tick goes the watch in a sing song voice as it makes fun of me. In front of me is Therapist he has a smug smile on his face and is happily writing away in his note book. I take a deep breath and sigh, witch catches his attention. He raises his eyebrow and his smile becomes bigger.

Wish a wish of wish
I wish her health, I wish her happiness, I wish her good fortune. He says over and over as if a mantra so that his true wishes are heard. As if, if he said it enough times he can make it true. For wishes become what you wish if you wish it too.
