Lani’s Acorn. Top Story - December 2025.
When I was young and Christmas rolled around I would watch “It’s a wonderful Life”. They would pretty much give it in every channel and I would end up seeing it multiple times. It’s a great movie with a heartwarming message of our own value. Or at least the value we have and don’t even know.

The house was quiet since mom died, outside the wind was howling as if it were mourning. It sounded like a wolf that had lost its pack and was searching for them. I was laying in bed, my mind racing with so much information. My mom had left me a key to a room that in all my years I had never been in. I do remember her going in and out of the room but it just never peaked my interest. I never even realized that it was locked.

“Pass me the lantern” he said to no one in particular because no one was there, everyone was dead. He sighed, walked over, grabbed the lantern, and went down the long, dark corridor. The light was enough to see nearby, yet the distance remained dark and murky.

So you are beginning to understand character creation well take what you have learned and create that world. Sometimes it’s that easy the answers to who your character is works to explain the world they are in. A good way to learn about world creation is to play in other people’s sandbox.
