The show has 2 series with 1 movie and so I wanted to have each created card a spotlight and provide the potential for multiple deck ideas. These cards will focus on the diamonds and the side characters that help enhance Steven and gives the show more depth. A series of magical, mineral-based aliens named Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl in the fictional town of Beach City. The episodic series talks about family and personal growth. This show inspired this deck and each card relates to the characters and concepts in the show.

Some don’t give up but what if your will is draining. Constant state of tire and yet you struggle to find some hope. You spend to get some motivation. You pay to get inspiration but do you end up getting it? The things you pay for becomes a temporary fix. Like a pay to play scenario. We pay to play the game of life.

Passing through the skies, hopeful and bright. Starting over doesn’t seem the same but familiar. Starting from scratch or starting from experience. It definitely feels different this time around. When you start from scratch, you start from a place of relearning and establishing the same habits and boundaries that wasn’t successful. Starting from experience is like finishing a game and starting hard mode with all the weapons and skills you have already acquired. You start the world from the same spot but now you have the tools and knowledge make it through and defeat the enemies who are stronger than before.

You wake up to a cool breeze. Dark as night your alarm hits a high. You shut it off for 5min but you really want 5 more hours. You lay there, in silence. As if to be meditating but really to look around your room. The space you now call home and wonder if this is it. All the years and experience brought you to this. Back in your child home where all you have is memories of happy times and surrounding reminders of what was. No dating, no boys or even intimate connections. Just happy memories that made you happy to be alive.

The Ten that Lost their Zen
There's such a thing with mystery. It gives curiosity and wonderment. Nowadays mystery becomes only for those in introduction. whether you are meeting someone new or getting to know someone. The idea of figuring out someone early on is both frightening and beautiful because you want to know more. The more you learn about someone the more you either want to see more of them or create distance. The more you grow into this world the more aware of the world that comes to your way, The things that hide in the shadows blooms more into what we hide behind from our insecurities.

Misplaced Earrings
Earrings so gold and black. Like icicle spikes that dangles from a ball so small. A black eye silhouetted with golden liners and yet, it sits in the center of the earring where the spikes lay. These pair of 2’s that wears on both ears, is made to staple a show we’ve experienced, and played. A gift of some sort from someone so dear. A high school friend who’ve parted and now entered revered. These earrings have yet to arrive. Soon it will be exchanged, soon it will be renamed.
