Little Dreamer
Naturally, she looked at the time spent together with sentiment and longing. She gazed in the direction of the window, iced over with the chill of the empty air. But what kept her warm, on those many days of reminiscing and wondering, were those memories of the the past. What kept her holding on for so long during those frantic moments of despair was not the idea that there was a future, but that maybe, someday, happy times like she experienced before would be with her again, reunited in her memory. Someday, things would be better for her, and she had to keep thinking, dreaming, never doubting that this wasn't true. She had to believe in the story in her heart, because she felt if she imagined it long enough, that story would come true. She would meet her characters, embark on the journey, and find an inner peace. She wanted to heal.
