Up and down
smile to frown
inside out
confidence to doubt
right side in
grace to sin
this brain I'm in
won't let me in
i'm happy, i'm sad
i'm hyper, i'm mad,
from one thing to the next;
i'm really quite perplexed
that i have come this far
with all of my scars
but when i look up at the stars
i know that the time is ours
today is my day to stand up and say
that i will be okay.
