Strasbourg on the III River
Strasbourg is located in northeastern France and is the capital of the Alsace region. This city is the seat of the European Parliament and lies on the German border. This lovely city has a blend of German and French influences and is best known for its Gothic Cathedral Notre-Dame. The cathedral has an impressive astronomical clock and you can get fantastic views of this city and the Rhine River from its 142m spire.

Traveling in Illinois
Ulysses S Grant Home State Historic Site in Galena is the former home of Ulysses S. Grant the Civil War general and later on, the 18th President of the U.S. The home has been restored with its 1860s furnishings and has Grant’s personal belongings. Tours are available.

The U.S. state of Illinois is a Midwestern state that borders Indiana with the Mississippi River to the west. It has been given the nickname of “The Prairie State”. All through the state, you can see farmland, forests, rolling hills, and wetlands. One of the largest cities in the U.S. is Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Marseille on the Coast of the Gulf of Lion
France, officially the French Republic is located in Western Europe and spans overseas regions and territories in the Americas and the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. France borders Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Monaco, Italy, Andorra, and Spain. Marseille is the prefecture of the French department of Bouches-du-Rhone. It is the capital of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region in southern France. The city is located on the coast of the Gulf of Lion, part of the Mediterranean Sea, near the mouth of the Rhone River.

Beautiful Hamilton and Mississauga
Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Ontario is the second-largest province in Canada. It lies on the strip of the Canadian mainland between Hudson and James Bays to the north and the St. Lawrence River-Great Lakes chain to the south. Quebec borders it to the east, the US to the south, and the Canadian province of Manitoba to the west.

Ghostly Inhabitants of Three Hotels
You could say The Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas is like the Overlook Hotel in the Stephen King novel “The Shining” in reality It is located in Seguin, Texas and its history goes back to 1840 when a log cabin was built on this property by Texas Ranger James Campbell. The cabin became a hotel during the mid-1800s and early 1900s. Finally, the hotel was abandoned and to save it placed on the Most Endangered Historic Places list. The Magnolia Hotel was bought in March 2013.
