Exploring the Netherlands
The Netherlands is a country known for its windmills, canals, and tulips. Keukenhof is the place to visit to see an abundance of tulips in the spring. It is known as the “Garden of Europe” and is located on the outskirts of the town of Lisse. This is the largest public garden in the world with over 700 varieties of tulips in April and May. Massive commercial hot houses keep the displays going most of the year. There are endless rows of tulips as well as hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils.

Cleveland on the Shores of Lake Erie
Cleveland, a major city in Ohio sits on the shores of Lake Erie. The Cleveland Museum of Art is among the city’s top attractions. It is housed in a lovely neo-Classical building built with white Georgian marble. You can see over 30,000 artworks from ancient Egypt to world-renowned masterpieces from Europe, Asia, and Africa. The museum also hosts special exhibitions, lectures, films, and musical programs. There are also community-based programs and performing arts series.

Europe Denmark A Danish omelet is a traditional Danish dish. It looks like an omelet or a thick pancake. The dish is made with a mixture of lightly, beaten eggs, milk, and flour and poured into a skillet. It is topped with slices of fried bacon, tomatoes, and chopped chives.

A Small Frontier Town The largest city and the capital of Idaho is Boise. It was founded in 1863 as a military fort to protect gold miners traveling on the Oregon Trail. Later on, it was named Fort Boise. The fort was named after the Boise River that runs through the city.

On the north, it is bordered by Denmark, on the south by Switzerland and Austria, on the east by Poland and the Czech Republic, on the southwest by France, and on the west with Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

Geneva on Lake Geneva
The beautiful city of Geneva is located at the southern tip of Lake Geneva. It sits in a majestic setting surrounded by the Alps and Jura Mountains. From the city, there are dramatic views of Mont Blanc. You’ll find the headquarters of Europe’s United Nations and the Red Cross here.

Cincinnati the Pearl of the West
Cincinnati is a city in Ohio located on the Ohio River. It is a vibrant and interesting city that has been called the “Pearl of the West” and the “Queen City”. It is an industrial city that offers a wide range of cultural and recreational facilities. Interest in the city was sparked by the popular TV show “WKRP in Cincinnati” in the late 1970s.
