Yesterday’s Love Songs
“Do I Love You” is a song that was co-written and recorded by Canadian American singer, songwriter, and actor Paul Anka. The song is on his 1972 eponymous LP. The song charted on the Easy Listening Singles chart in both the US and Canada. It was adapted from a French-language song popularized by Claude Francois. Anka composed the English lyrics. Titled “Do I Love You (Yes in Every Way)” the song was covered by American country music singer Donna Fargo. It is the second single from her album Shame on Me. The song charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and went to number one on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.

Europe Sweden Vasterbottenostpah is a traditional cheese pie. The crust is made with flour, butter, and cold water. The pie is filled with a mixture of eggs, milk, cream, Vasterbotten cheese, salt, and white pepper. The cheese consists of cow’s milk and has a firm, granular texture with a sweet and savory flavor. Once prepared the filling is poured into the baked pie crust and baked in the oven until the cheese is melted and the pie is golden brown.

Verona on the Adige River
Verona is a charming city that became a Roman colony in 89 BCE. When it comes to tourism the city sometimes is overshadowed by its glamorous neighbor, Venice, but the city has much to offer including art and architecture. It was an important artistic center during the Renaissance. Earlier it was ruled by the powerful della Scala family referred to as the Scaligeri. The impressive buildings and bastioned town walls were built by the leading 15th and 16th-century architects, Fra Giocondo and Michele Sanmicheli.

This talented British-Irish singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist came into the world as Christopher John Davison but is professionally known as Chris de Burgh. This talented musician has recorded 23 studio albums, 9 compilations, 4 live albums, and 66 singles. His greatest success came in 1986 when he released the love song “Lady In Red” which reached number one in several countries.
