Jefferson City by the Missouri River
The capital of the state of Missouri, Jefferson City is located on the northern edge of the Ozark Plateau on the southern side of the Missouri River. This region is called Mid-Missouri and is just about mid-way between the two larger urban areas of Kansas City and St. Louis in the state.

The Island of Sardinia
Everyone enjoys the sand and the sun and the lovely beaches and wonders of Sardinia. It is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, after Sicily. It offers 2,000 km of coastline and mountains in the interior just great for hiking. You can see such wonders as Bronze-age stone structures that are shaped like beehives.

Dancing Through Your Life
Waltzing the Night Away The word waltz comes from the German word walzen “to revolve”. It became a popular ballroom dance that evolved from the Landler in the 19th century. The dance is characterized by a step, slide, step in ¾ time. As their turning couples hold each other and you could say, glide across the floor. Classic composers of famous waltzes include Frederic Chopin, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Johann Strauss, whose son Johan Strauss the Younger became known as “the Waltz King”.

Farewell to the Queen of Rock and Roll
Born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939 she became Tina Turner also known as the Queen of Rock ‘N’ Roll. She started off her career as the lead singer for the Ike& Turner Revue. She left this world on May 24, 2023, at the age of 83. She had become a legend and a memorable singer and she leaves behind her legacy and her music for everyone. Tina Turner was an American-born and naturalized Swiss singer, dancer, actress, and author. Turner acted in the films “Tommy” in 1975, “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” in 1985, and a biographical film from her autobiography “I, Tina: My Life Story” which came out in 2009. She retired after her Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour.

Rock and Rolling Along
The Rolling Stones an English rock band came together in London, England in 1962. At this time they have been rocking and active for six decades. Their first lineup consisted of vocalist Mick Jagger, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, guitarist Keith Richards, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts. The band began by playing cover songs and later on found success with their own material. Along the way, they had many popular hits that are still played today and identified with The Rolling Stones. Their most recognizable hits have been included in the many live albums they have done throughout the years.

Europe England Parmo is a popular British dish that is made with deep-fried chicken cutlets. The cutlets are covered with breadcrumbs and fried. Then they are topped with a creamy sauce and ingredients like cheese, bacon, or pepperoni. The dish is served with chips and salad on the side.

Majestic Florence
Florence in Central Italy is where the Renaissance was born and is the capital of the Tuscany region and the place where you can find many art and architectural masterpieces. In this city, you’ll find Michelangelo’s “David” and the artworks of Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci. Florence is an amazing city to view from a bridge that spans over the Arno River. It is also home to many fashion designers such as Gucci and Cavalli, who were both born here. The hills around Florence are lush with vineyards.
