Soundless Connection Across the Coffee Shop
She strolls into the café I frequent so regularly, full of grace, elegance, and a pale face dressed in dirty blonde hair. As I watch her approach the counter, almost gliding on air, her curvy figure enters my frame of vision, I can't hear her order or Born to Run playing through the sound system.

From the start we are engrossed through the middle to the end. The end that brings everything to a nice, or not so nice conclusion.

The Journal
I had always taken pride in my high standards for whom I let into my life. Was I lonely? Yes. Often. I overthought almost everything in life. Which I believed was a secret weapon, a special power, but also a curse. That's why I started journaling. Joanne suggested it might help me understand myself better, or at least help me sleep at night. I am very much a person of order, or at least, perceived order. Things need to be in their relative place.

“Always celebrate your wins. Big or small.” – Leigh Shulman So, I am not even sure what to say. I had been aware it was getting close…like four months ago…so then the heat died down on the potential excitement. I knocked past 20,000 reads recently and Vocal may just be one little hovel, little hole the internet to which we can't help but fall in, but I am proud and pleased as punch. That is from March 2021 when I first joined up until today when I published this.
