As the battle for the soul of Sister Gwendolyn continued to rage, the All Mother looked on with concern, ire and puzzlement. Why was Lucifer so intent on disobeying her orders from the pits of Hell. Why was his demon locked in battle for a soul which she had ordained as forgiven. Yes, Gwendolyn's crime had been horrendous, but had she not atoned and done some good works for many years. Forgiveness was a luxury that only the All Mother could grant.

Happy International Talk Like A Pirate Day
Inside the tavern, the pirates all sat a'drinking, a'cussin and a 'swearing. Goblets of frothing beer banged loudly on tables and countertops. The gaudy, irreverent jokes brought loud guffaws from the jolly crowd, but scowls and frowning worry stares from the bartender. He fully expected loads of trouble to be a'popping up, the drunker his patrons became.

Wickedly Twisted
Deep in the Massachusetts woods, there is a sculpture of a dancer, poised in a twisted pose. It is a beautiful sunbathed landscape in shades of blues, lavenders and pale green, a heavenly sight just before dawn and as a prelude to the approaching dark of nights. A lake with the bluest water flows all around, where butterflies play and rare birds come to drink.

Therapy's house . Top Story - September 2023.
I have written this ten times, deleted, restarted and began again eleven times. It will never become what I want it to be. A story of a willful, head strong, clueless, independent, curious person who loved books, reading and awkward writing more than anything else. I wanted to lock myself away and read books for the rest of my life. But very much so very unfortunately, one has to do the required status quo and do life.

Banking and slavery in the 18th-19th Century. Top Story - September 2023.
In the book "The Devils Half Acre", by Kristen Green, she highlights the practice of utilizing slaves as a means of collateral for the purpose of banking. I must say that I never before thought of people being a means of asset ascertainment to loans from a banking institution, neighbors and friends.
