Erdogan: Critiques Netanyahu.. Content Warning.
Israel is still raining down death and destruction on Gaza with no end in sight. Thousands of Gazans lie dead, maimed, or will suffer from PTSD for the rest of their lives. Lord knows how many bodies lie under the rubble. Israel has achieved some success in neutralizing Hamas. Some hostages have been recovered from Gaza either dead or alive. Gazans wander from place to place never knowing if the IDF will bomb them alleging that where they are is a Hamas stronghold. Israelis have demonstrated since the beginning of the war where Hamas killed one thousand, some odd Israelis. Hoping Israel will negotiate with the remnants of Hamas in Gaza, to end the war, and bring the hostages home. Israel despite its firepower and military might has failed to destroy Hamas. While much of its military and tunnel system lies in ruins, many of its fighters, leaders, and operatives are dead, it still can bring grief to the IDF. In hit-and-run attacks, Israel's equipment is being destroyed be it tanks, bulldozers, etc. The IDF's dead must be at least 1,000 or more taken out by Hamas fighters.

Trump Admits He Could Lose.
Reality may be dawning in the mind of the former POTUS (President of The United States), he may lose. Trump is normally upbeat and defiant but two brushes with death via thwarted assassination attempts may have made him think. No doubt, Trump still wants to win the presidential race, however, having been within inches of leaving this life, Trump may have had time to reflect. Maybe, winning or losing doesn't matter to him anymore. Maybe, he is realizing there is more to life than being President of the United States. I am speculating here but who knows what goes through people's minds.

Meticulous Mossad: Exploding Devices.. Content Warning.
Hezbollah received the shock of its life when its communication devices exploded. Literally in their faces, pagers and walkie-talkies exploded killing 9 operatives and injuring 3,000 Hezbollah members. The funny thing was Hasan Nasrallah, Head of Hezbollah, warned his operatives not to use mobile phones in case Israel was tracking them. Hence, Hezbollah switched to low-tech and old tech to communicate like pagers and walkie-talkies. How ironic, then that these devices exploded causing such harm and carnage to Hezbollah.

NHS: Sir Keir's Speech Today.. Content Warning.
When the NHS was created by the Labour government in 1945 it was a service free for all, regardless, of your status in life. Before this people paid into an insurance scheme that paid for health treatments. Private health insurance still exists as does the private health service. However, only those with a pretty penny can access it. Yes, private health can be accessed by those on NHS waiting lists which is meant to shorten waiting lists. I know many people treated privately when on NHS waiting lists. And, they all report they thought it was a good thing and were treated well both by staff and their overall treatment.

Government Wins Vote on Winter Fuel.. Content Warning.
The government's move to stop winter fuel payments for pensioners was won last night. The vote was carried and Labour's plan to stop winter fuel allowance for OAPs will go ahead. Many pensioners now will be afraid to turn on their heating this winter. A question as they say of "eating or heating". If I were an OAP it might be a good idea to buy or get out your woolies or blankets. In 2024 pensioners who have paid into the country for years should not have to live like this. If the richest of pensioners with private pensions are hit that's fair enough. But the poorest pensioners amongst us should not have to suffer like this. But that's how the government have made it or played it.

Lee Carsley: Does Not Sing Anthems.. Content Warning.
Lee Carsley the current interim manager of England was not singing "God Save The Queen". As the anthem rang out at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Mr. Carlsley sat in the dugout tightlipped and emotionless. England and Ireland have a history which has been acrimonious for the most part. So as the English anthem was played the Irish section of the crowd booed.

Harsh Penalties and Fines for Water Companies.. Content Warning.
Britain's waterways in 2024 are in a dire state. Just 14% of our lakes, rivers, and seas are in what could be called pristine condition. In the 21st century, the fact that our waterways are in such a dire condition is a disgrace. Free water swimming is enjoyed by many who swim in natural waterways like lakes, rivers, and the sea. However, natural that might be, do these people realize how polluted and dirty our waterways are? If you are a natural waterways swimmer I am, by no means, slagging you off, merely pointing out the hazards.

Kemi Badenoch: Can't Keep Blaming Labour.
When Rishi Sunak declared there would be a general election on 4 July could he have known the cataclysmic defeat he would face? Perhaps not even a prophet could have seen the defeat the Tories would face. Rishi must have known he would be the last in a line of disastrous Conservative Prime Ministers. 14 years of destruction wrought on the poorest amongst us. And so it was, Rishi was booted out of office, followed by Sir Keir Starmer.

Starmer and Musk: Difference of Opinion.. Content Warning.
Two powerful men have gone head to head over the recent disturbances in the UK. Someone posted a lie on X saying the attacker in Southport was a Syrian Muslim. This was posted to cause trouble and whip up community antagonism. People like Nigel Farage, Andrew Tate, and Tommy Robinson, fell for the post hook, line, and sinker. Posting comments about the attacker being a Muslim whipped up anti-Muslim sentiment and riots on the streets. Muslims and their places of worship were attacked. Foreigners from locations around the world from Pakistanis to Poles were attacked, buildings were set on fire, looting was rife, etc. Before that, there had been a riot by Eastern Europeans over a case of social services trying to remove a child. Mainly Romanians and the police were accused of a softly, softly, approach. Allowing rioters to trash their area where the police seemed to run away.
