Zelenskyy Warns 10,000 North Korean Troops On Their Way.
North Korea Aiding Russia.
Russia is being aided in its ongoing war with Ukraine. Iran and China are supporting Russia's position in fighting Ukraine. That support is not just moral support but sending arms to help 'Vlad The Invader'. Iran has been sending suicide drones that have wreaked havoc in Ukraine. China has not openly declared it is sending weapons but it would not be a surprise.
Russia has good relations with North Korea. It is known that North Korea too has been sending weapons to keep the Russian war machine going. President Vlodymir Zelenskyy has alleged that North Korean officers and operatives are already on the ground in Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine. Vlad 'The Invader' Putin and North Korea's overweight leader Kim Jong-un have met on several occasions. North Korea and Russia are under sanctions from the West so why wouldn't they work together? The same as Iran and Russia again both under Western sanctions. As for China, relations between the West and China are in the bin. So why wouldn't Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea work together against a common enemy?
Zelenskyy has alleged that according to Ukrainian intelligence Pyong-Yang (the capital of North Korea) is sending 10,000 troops to Moscow. They will then be deployed into the theatre of war to fight alongside Russian troops. How would North Korean and Russian troops integrate, communicate, and integrate on the battlefield? For example, would North Korean troops serve with their Russian counterparts under Russian command?
Given the language barrier what language would they use to communicate and understand each other? One can imagine the confusion on the battlefield if language breaks down. Ukraine would make the most of this. What about if the North Korean troops defect to Russia or indeed, Ukraine? Not wishing to return to their reclusive nation where outside influences are blocked.
Can 10,000 North Korean troops make a difference to the Russian war effort? One cannot say that sending 10,000 North Korean troops would make a difference on the battlefield. How ready are they for war, how well trained are they, are they strong enough and fit enough to fight given North Korea's poor diet? Does the regime prioritise feeding its troops the best food to keep them fit and ready for combat? Their height may be called into question but does that make any difference on the battlefield? Look at the Vietnamese they fought well even though most of them were shorter than the average GI. Look at the Japanese in WW II, most of them were shorter than their Western enemies, but they were ferocious fighters. So the North Korean troops could be the same despite their height.
Thousands of troops on both sides have paid the price in this war. However, Russia has a larger population and it may be able to sustain the war more. Plus Russia is still a superpower or at least a regional power. Despite all this, Russia struggles to send recruited men to the front. Russia has even emptied prisons to find troops and fling them at the Ukrainians with little to no training. There must also be many Russians who do not want to serve in a fruitless war. Conscientious objectors will either be forced into the army or face imprisonment. So 10,000 North Korean troops could alleviate that shortage.
One wonders if Zelenskyy could be fabricating this as the war is going against him. The Ukrainian people have given everything in this conflict. They must be war-weary and they will be struggling even more than Russia to recruit able-bodied men. So wouldn't it be convenient for Zelenkyy to fabricate such a thing so he can have more weapons from the West? Hoping NATO will send troops itself to counteract the alleged 10,000 North Korean combat soldiers. That's not to say there aren't already US, UK, etc, boots on the ground. Engaging in clandestine ops against Russian forces or acting in an advisory capacity. If Trump gets in he may not be as welcoming or soft as Biden has been on Ukraine.
Zelenskyy knows there is a small window in getting weapons, especially from the US. So given that Trump could win Zelenskyy is doing all he can to ramp up his war effort in the time he has left (that's if Trump becomes President in November).
Western intelligence services are monitoring the situation. They are not doubting Zelenskyy's words as they know Russia and North Korea are tight. If North Korean troops arrive in the theatre of war Zelenskyy said it will lead to "World War III". One can accuse the Ukrainian leader of being over-dramatic, however, he may have a point.

Things are hotting up between Iran and Israel and it looks incredibly dangerous. Since 7 October 2023 when Hamas launched a massacre of 1,200 Israelis. Also taking 200 hostages into Gaza. What followed was the massive devastation of Gaza by the Israeli Defence Forces. Whether Hamas hides its operatives and weapons in civilian areas or not Israel has attacked every target you can imagine in Gaza. Churches, mosques, medical facilities, education places, in fact, the whole fabric of what constitutes a civil society has been destroyed. Gazans have moved all over the place to safety at the behest of the IDF to keep out of "Harm's way". Two words that the Israelis love using but it has not kept them out of harm's way. So-called safe zones have also been bombed killing innocent people. Israel always claims Hamas is hiding out in these places. And yet, for all their massive attacks on Gaza Hamas like the the Elton John song says is still standing. No doubt, Hamas has suffered much destruction and operatives dead. The way to get weapons from Egypt has been blocked off as the IDF now control the border crossing between Gaza and Israel. However, Hamas still seems to have a large supply of munitions. And what they don't have they improvise, even using unexploded IDF bombs against Israeli forces.
