I Get to Live
As I slowly returned to life in the weeks that followed my beautiful dad’s passing, I’d get a peculiar feeling when I did anything, like cooking, or going for a walk, that my dad, if he’s around me (I believe so), might experience a pang of longing for whatever simple thing I was doing.

Heaven and hell exist within us. They are mental, emotional, and physical states. Sins are decisions that lead to our self-destruction, or stop our growth, and they're not always overtly evil, like murder. They’re also not an action that earns you a ticket to eternal fire and brimstone.

Players Are Insecure
I’ve been struck by a smooth criminal enough times to be able to recognize one immediately. They catch my eye from across the way, and I'm confronted by a devilishly handsome face with a small smile playing on the lips, and a gleam in the eyes. They all carry this confidence.
