Filling My Head With Rock, Laughter In Carthage, With Aristotle And Dante Discovering The Secrets Of The Universe
Introduction When I was in Leakey's bookshop in Inverness, I bought two hefty Michael Moorcock tomes that I was unaware of, which is not unusual, as he has written a lot of books. These were volumes two and three of a quartet, which weigh in at two and a half thousand pages of very dense text, which is taking a long time to read.

Why Are We Here?
Introduction This was inspired or kicked off by a couple of conversations I heard going into town on the bus. I sometimes have to go in to get necessities, and I do drop by record shops to pick up some more music if I like it. Maybe cards and things for friends, but I find shopping incredibly tedious, but on that bus, I seemed to be in a definite minority.

The Lighting Of The Stones
Introduction It is also my forty-ninth piece inspired by Angie's work, and soon we will release our co-created book. I love this painting with the earthlight shining through the trees as the faithful hold their torches, lighting the stones.

Five Shadows
He didn't know how it happened or when it started, but he had been in many places where he cast multiple shadows, and didn't think anything of it, but now, everywhere he went, he cast five shadows. He didn't know why, and nothing seemed to be amiss, but each day it preyed a little more on his mind.

A Wingful Of Eyes
Introduction I don't know what this means. This is the first verse of the song There is a feeling we all know Something happened long ago When you remember who you were Makes you what you are today You are a kite upon the wind Blowing through eternity And you were always meant to fly You are a wingful of eyes

The Wire Spider
He was an arachnophobe and an artist, so the wire spider was a difficult commission to complete, but he did it, and now it dominated his studio. He tried not to look at it, but it was just a metal creation, but it was a spider. He started to feel it was watching him, waiting to bite him and pierce his skin with its metal leg spikes.
