It Bites - An Arachnophobic Drabble
He was an arachnophobe and an artist, so the wire spider was a difficult commission to complete, but he did it, and now it dominated his studio. He tried not to look at it, but it was just a metal creation, but it was a spider. He started to feel it was watching him, waiting to bite him and pierce his skin with its metal leg spikes.
He was waiting for the person who had asked for it to come and pay him and take the spider away.
Seconds dragged, time seemed to slow down.
Then the spider moved ....

Congratulations, you made my skin crawl. And I'm not even afraid of spiders. Also, great song choice. I read it first without the music and then re-read it while listening and the song definitely increased the intensity of the soon crawling.
