Another Door
A gray door that says "Open me." What is there here for all to see there? (I believe that I am getting the hang of writing haikus. Also, I think I got the syllable count for the whole haiku as well as each of lines. Please read and comment for it is really appreciated.)

Doors
A garden door opens to a garden of friends that grow up and down. (Here is another haiku about a particular door to a secret garden. I believe that I have the syllable count right for this one. Hope you like this one and please comment after you read this one.)

Babies
Full of wandering Plenty of hugs abound with Babies are family. (Here is another haiku. Again, I feel that maybe the word 'hugs' is either one or two syllables. 'Family' is two syllables to me. I divided 'fam/ily' like this making it two syllables or could be three 'fam/i/ly'. 'Wan/der/ing' like this giving three syllables. Please comment it will be greatly appreciated.)

Thunderstorm
Dark clouds are brewing Winds at high speeds now howling Thunderstorms to engage. (One last haiku for tonight. I think they are getting a little better, I hope. My inspiration for this one was I was hearing thunder outside as well as the dark, gray clouds and sky. Please comment if you want to.)

Rainbows
Rainbows of color all all red, yellow, orange, green, blue now after a rain. (I believe I described a basic rainbow. Also, I do believe I have the 5, 7, 5 pattern of a proper haiku. I had these ideas, and I wanted to get them down before they left me never to return. Hope you read and comment.)

The Family

A Bedroom

Children's Literature
There is nothing better than a children's book. There are many lessons that one can learn from these kinds of books both for children and adults. There are mysteries, stories dealing with friendships, family and even personal issues. There are even nonfiction books that teach various skills from health and nutrition to even birth and death that are done in a conversational tone using vocabulary that children know and use.
