Rainbows

haiku

Rainbows of color all

all red, yellow, orange, green, blue

now after a rain.

(I believe I described a basic rainbow. Also, I do believe I have the 5, 7, 5 pattern of a proper haiku. I had these ideas, and I wanted to get them down before they left me never to return. Hope you read and comment.)

I believe rainbows are messages from above.

Thanks for the comment. I thought orange and color were only one syllable.

Your haiku is actually 6-8-5, but I can see why you thought it was a proper haiku. I always use this Haiku Syllable Counter, to double-check: https://www.haikusyllablecounter.com/ They are hard, but it gets easier as you write more and more of them.
