Here’s To Me
Quite recently, I came across an ad for an AI song generator. Curiously, I downloaded the ad and asked it to create a song based on my life. I was asked to choose my song’s genre and preference of either male or female vocals. I am currently in my country girl, plaid shirt with cowgirl boots era so of course I went down that rabbit hole.

Spirit Island
2021, fresh out of COVID territory, my Ex and I decided to go somewhere after spending the year in lock-down while going through his cancer treatments. It was a trying year and we both were in desperate need to live again. He decided upon Calgary, Alberta – specifically to visit the Canadian Badlands in Drumheller, Banff National Park and Jasper National Park of Canada.

The Next Great Guyanese Novel
The crowing rooster in the neighbor’s yard two houses down signals it’s morning. The air at this time of day is cool and fresh as it blows in from the Atlantic coast making the breeze from the stand fan beside the bed an additional delight. It is quite beautiful at this time of morning and though there is light the sun is still somewhat absent from the sky. It has not fully made it’s appearance and there is a cast of dim light on the homes, not bright enough to drown out the street lights or lights on the houses.

Twilight
The Twilight movie; what a disappointing film adaptation of a good book. As a fan of the saga, I was not pleased with the shabby graphics and mediocre acting. Main characters were far from portrayed as described in the books making the entire first film an opening for bad jokes.
