A to Z end

A vengeful grin,

Beaming on a face so calm.

Calculating the lies,

Declaring the truth will be their downfall.

Everyone’s a masked player right now and

Failure is not an option to quit.

Goals to take the opponent down,

Held firm as a rose in a corpse’s grip.

Intimidation is key,

Just a little goes a long way.

Knowing in the end,

Liars never have the last say.

Meandering through the story plot holes;

Noting,

Observing,

Preparing for the close.

Quitting now would be shameful,

Realizing the position you are now in.

Sympathizing with the enemy

Through their now confessed sin.

Unwanted feelings of remorse,

Veering the compass off its mark.

Wanting nothing but peace as your emotions

X-ray your heart.

You realize you can only take so much before there’s

Zero reasons not to make a new start.

A penny for my thoughts is worth it.
