Balance of Mind and Heart
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. When the small village of Clovemoore was first founded, nestled between the two beautiful mountains Hixladle and Nyborne, there was not a single beast in sight. The stream that cut through the lush green ferns and grasses in the Valley provided the people with all the water they could want, and the livestock of the town had plenty of sweet flowers and grass to graze on.

The Concept of Freedom
Humanity speaks about freedom as though it is an unattainable dream. And in so many ways, it is, for us and everyone impacted by us. Because the fight for freedom by one country or person or government or community still creates ripples in the small pond of our world that branch out and affect everyone else. People start wars all the time, over what? The ability to make a choice for themselves.

Lifting Spirits
“Rei. Rei, open up.” Silence. “Rei Fortuna Letra if you don’t open this goddamn door right now, I’m gonna-” The door creaks open and the young woman slams it open, muttering half-hearted praises about being lucky. The woman is hispanic, her light brown skin contrasting the dark eyes that glared into the empty room.

Equestria, The Land I Love
Equestria, the land I love I first found the world of Equestria when I was a young child. My grandmother gave me her phone with an episode playing as our plane was landing so my ears wouldn't pop. I couldn't stop watching and admiring the adventures of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity. As I learned much later, the reason this show clicked so well is because of the mix of character types. There's no one right way to be a girl, which has been reflected over this world many times over.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, Johnny Town-Mouse, and other Beatrix Potter Stories
When I was young, Peter hopped across the pages in the book you see above, then went under the fence into Mr. McGregor's garden. Flopsy, Mopsey, and Cottontail stained their mouths with fresh juice from the blackberries their mother asked them to pick.
