My Mother And Sister Were The Very Best Pie Makers
First I have to say that the pie above is not strawberry rhubarb, even though it may have strawberries, it probably doesn't have rhubarb. The recipe below I found in 2010, after my sister died in my mother's recipes. My daughter and I published a recipe book for my sister's memorial.

My Yesterday As An Elder Woman

Vocal Media Did Not Approve My Story
Okay, so I may have to go back and read the rules again. That was a fast not approved. No time to even read any of it. It reminded me of my daughter putting her fingers in her ears, and making loud noises when I would start to talk about sex. It was a part of my job. And she is a registered nurse.

Writing Eleven O'clock This Morning, Versus 11:00 a.m.
Natalie Goldberg's Writing Down the Bones Deck Prompts - Write for ten minutes using a number in everyline. Ten minutes is that too long to write in a number like eleven-thirty? I don't think so it is six-thirty-eight right now. I have to shower by seven-fifteen, I will be at the river by nine, done by ten. Then at brunch by ten-thirty, home by twelve-thirty.
