Intimacy is so much more than you may realize
The dictionary defines intimacy as Closeness between people in personal relationships. It's what builds over time as you connect with someone, grow to care about each other, and feel more and more comfortable during your time together. It can include physical or emotional closeness, or even a mix of the two. I take note that the official description does not mention sex but this is what popular society has come to believe.

Billie Burke Glinda the Good Witch actress had an unusual voice during The Wizard of Oz.
If the name Mary William Ethelbert Appleton Burke does not ring a bell, perhaps the name Billie Burke will. She was an actress born on August 7, 1884 and died on May 14, 1970. Her father’s name was William Billy Ethelbert Burke and her mother was Blanche Beaty Burke. There is no record of why she put Appleton in her name. Billy Burke was Blanche’s second husband so perhaps Applebee was her maiden name. “ Bille” was famous in silent and sound films as well as radio and Broadway. She was married only once to Florenz Zigfield Jr.

Aunt Clara from ‘Bewitched’ the life of Marion Lorne
I am enjoying many of my favorite television programs from the 60s and 70’s on streaming services and retro television networks. I recently watched quite a few back to back episodes of Bewitched where the talented Marion Lorne MacDougall was featured as Aunt Clara. Professionally she was known as Marion Lorne and as Aunt Clara was bumbling and fumbling and as a witch. Clara's spells almost always went wrong and she once caused a power outage in 12 Eastern states. She also conjured up the real Ben Franklin and created an actual spotted elephant for her great niece Tabitha when what she was trying to reproduce was a toy stuffed pakaderm.

Vanna heats up after baby reveal on 'General Hospital'
General Hospital viewers have been seeking a change from the predictable storylines such as the Willow/Michael/Sasha/ Brando situaiton. Fans are tired of Cyrus Renault never getting caught and don't like that his mother is being held hostage so to speak. Recent spoilers indicate that deception is going to reign supreme in Port Charles and a romance may bloom out of all the drama. Valentin and Anna might be bitten by the love bug which will be a different scenario and perhaps heat things up a bit.

Where the Woodbine Twineth actress Margaret Leighton continued acting after MS diagnosis
Where the Woodbine Twineth The beautiful and talented Margaret Leighton was clearly a class act in her day. I first caught a glimpse of her in the 1965 episode of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode “Where the Woodbine Twineth.” In this program, Leighton portrayed stern Aunt Nell, who attempted to raise her brother’s daughter after he died.

Robert E Lee was born after his mother was buried alive
In the course of history, we find that every action indeed has a reaction and this story illustrates how true that is. If it were not for the decision made by a quick thinking caretaker, then United States history as we know it, related to the Civil War would have been altered drastically. There is an old saying that truth is stranger than fiction and this is true in the case of Confederate General Robert E Lee. The events that will be shared here took place 15 months prior to his birth and ensured his place in the Confederacy.

There are many legends and myths within the truth regarding the infamous outlaws who were the James brothers Frank and Jesse. They were the sons of a preacher who turned to a life of crime. ‘The Wreck of the Titan’ foretold the sinking of the Titanic
The RMS Titanic was a luxury steamship, that sank in the early morning hours of April 15, 1912. This tragedy took place during the ship's maiden voyage in the North Atlantic off the coast of Newfoundland. The Titanic ran into an iceberg with 2,240 passengers and crew on board. More than 1,500 people lost their lives in the disaster and countless articles, movies, and books, have been produced and written on the subject. There is one publication however that was penned 14 years prior to the Titanic sinking. Some believe this was a premonition of future events but the author has another explanation.

The vanishing tabby
I have only had my tabby cat Boots for 2 weeks and we are just getting to know each other. He was skittish the first evening but every day since he has been a joy. Boots likes to lay on us when we are on the couch and if we get up to go to another room he will follow. He is curious natured as all cats are but has never been out of our sight for long until today. At 10:30 AM Boots perched on the back of the living room couch as I was writing stories. When I got up to get some water he went to the steps and ran up.
